Maybe he could replace Lucas. Hamann and Alonso both had twitches.

Aquilani may have had a twitch but caught a bat around the eye socket which unfortunately sorted it out. Mascherano doesn't have a twitch, but he has a bizarre disorder where all of his emotions are a binary. He's either at 0 or 10 and there is no in between.

Lucas is a normal.
