Hmmm I don't really want to enter the debate as to who really D, I just hope it does not come to that, but a dip in our fortunes was always going to raise questions, and it's far to early for people jumping on any Dalglish-out bandwagon, and I know you are not.
The thing is it that it is what most were clamouring for, and whatever happens he was the right man at the time, in fact the only man, the whole club needed unifying we were all tearing it apart and that worked.
My big concern was exactly this - what if the legend is seen to have frailties, what is the reaction going to be? I was concerned last week at the team selection and logic behind it, this week happy with the team but the individual performances and as a team were shocking.
All those that said we won't miss Suarez need their heads looking at, we were always going to miss him, there is a big big something missing when he is not there buzzing around, perhaps it's no coincidence that Adam has looked a shadow of the player without Suarez for any meaningful outlet, Bellamy can't do it all on his own..........Where was I ? Oh yes Suarez is just one man, and other than Lucas we have no real meaningful injuries (I did not think I would say that myself, but there you are), but we looked hopeless yesterday.
So poor team selection and a poorly motivated under-performing team where does that buck usually rest? I am going to support him through thick and thin, I might criticise some of the stuff that he does, but I will maintain a hope that he can with Suarez back and on-form still turn it round.
There also has to be a fleck of realism in this too that there were question marks over his appointment as regards his tactical acumen from me, but he is the legend and I must stick with him, and just hope if it gets too bad he falls on his own sword.
If it ever did come to it and I hope it does not, I hope you shit gold.
