I was talking about more than Keita. We faffed around and tried to low ball Roma initially for Salah, we completely fucked up the Van Dijk situation by leaking the new to local and national media before we'd even submitted a bid, and we have had our interest in Keita all over the press for weeks without submitting a bid. We are crap.
10-15 m euros isn't a massive deal if you think if you retaIn the player you're going to have a better season and champs league run.

RB Leipzig have toughened their resolve over Naby Keita, with sporting director Ralf Rangnick insisting the midfielder has no release clause in his contract, and would not be sold even if a “three-figure” bid is received from Liverpool.
It was also widely reported that Keita has a £48m release fee that can be triggered next summer, but Rangnick has dismissed all these claims and reiterated the club’s hardline position.
“There are no players in our squad who have an exit clause,” he said at a press briefing.
“I will repeat it one more time, we will not sell any of our key players. There are a lot of reports about there being a certain figure where we could be open to a sale, but they are all false.
“We are not selling anyone even if we are talking about a three-figure transfer fee and the players know that.

Arsenal will probably offer three figures plus one now.
They seem to be talking about how he's not for sale every day now, are they just being asked every day? It seems weird to keep going on about it all the time that's all. I'm not saying this deal is going to happen, but these comments aren't convincing me they won't right now, it all sounds like standard bluster.
