Going up at the weekend, but as a treat to ourselves, dropping the kids off at Mum and Dad's, and then having a night in town.
Haven't eaten anywhere 'grown up' for ages (usually it's somewhere on The Docks with a load of kids in tow) so I need some suggestions from the Forum.
Don't care what cuisine, really, apart from no Mexican or sushi. Would probably prefer a place with a bit of atmosphere too, rather than some deathly quiet Michelin-starred type of place, but other that, I'm quite easy.
Think the last place I went to was Asia De Cuba, or whatever that place is called, and The Living Rooms on match nights, so those are out.
