People are still rightly scarred from the Hull mess ... That loss pisses me off even more ... but hey, the team is learning slowly but surely how if everyone puts in a shift (Gerrard ... **ahem**), we are a tough tough team to play against.

Every team has ups and downs and the occasional unexpected loss against a shit team. Two of those shots could have gone anywhere and would have done on another day. Bad day at the office and all that.

What amazes me is the way people get over excitable at rare defeats, siting it as a symbol of how shite the manager is (didn't one dickhead bang on about Martinez in response?) while refusing to get carried away by a massive win like today.

Fuck'em. Sad bastards.

Check the Henderson thread.

I called a 4-1 win way before anyone else.

One brave soul flying the flag of hope, rallying the troops like a certain William Wallace, amidst all the doom and gloom. And not a single bother heading this way. Would I fret ? No, cos an unsung hero never wants glory for himself. He does it for the sake of the team.

How there isn't a thread saying what's bunch of no balls, whiney, doubting cunts 95% of the posters on here are. Except Dirty Sanchez who confidently called a big win.

Oh.

When you support a team that has not won the title for 20+ years, and the best it has done in that time is come second on a few occasions - you doubt that that team can actually win against certain opponents. The results of the last few years at the lane kind of gives an indication of what usually happens. Good victory today, but does it change my confidence in the team for the next 3 games ? - No, as I still think we can lose all three games as much as we could possibly win them.
