GK: Reina/Doni/Jones
RB: Johnson/Kelly/Flannagan/Degen
LB: Enrique/Aurelio/Robinson/Insua
CB: Carragher/Agger/Skrtel/(New CB) << Hopefully (Cahill)/The Greek/Wilson
DM: Lucas/Speearing/Coady/Poulsen
RW: Kuyt/Henderson/Maxi/El Zhar
LW: Downing/J.Cole/Sterling/Aurelio
CM: Gerrard/Meireles/Adam/Shelvey/Aqua??
ST: Carroll/Suarez/N'gog/Kuyt/Pacheco

Dont know if im missing anyone but we have good options in all parts of the pitch and finally have a balanced squad with left and right footers.

If we sign a new CB, like Cahill then count me in for us winning the title this season especially as we have no Europe to tire us out.

I added shitcunts like el zhar, degen etc because they still in our team but crossed out the 1's i hope leave

----------------Reina----------------
Johnson--Carra-Agger--Enrique
----------------Lucas----------------
-------Gerrard-----Meireles-------
Suarez-------Carroll-----Downing

Bench: Doni, Sktrel, Kuyt, Flanno, Robinson, Adam, Henderson, J.Cole, Maxi, N'gog, Aurelio, Shelvey, Aqua, Pacheco, Sterling, Coady .. the list goes on, the options are there.

Id say this is our strongest team at the moment, but if we sign Cahill id put him instead or Carra..

Bring on the 2011/12 Season, we fucking got this!!

Yeah, we've got a bigger squad, but it doesn't yet feel like one which will challenge for the Premier League.

Which is a shame really, because I think it could have been possible if we had spent a little differently.

We definitely have a squad to get us in the top 4, particularly when you consider what is happening at Arsenal.

However, the sheer vast number of top quality players that Man City have, not to mention the consistency and fluidity of United mean they are far higher favourites than us.

Like Sunny said we need another CB. I wouldnt mind a Lavezzi type player as well.
But mainly a CB, Cahill, Gary.

I really want to believe, but i still think we're missing a bit of quality in certain positions.

One thing i'm certain of though is that we're going to hand out a lot more proper spankings this season.

for some reason this made me laugh quite a lot.

he reminds you of a black guy?

I still think we're really short in the striker department.
Also, there's a shed (was going to say 'shit' but my language has been terrible on here tonight) load of rank outsiders who we badly need to shift, to get off the wage bill and even free up some funds for somewhere where we need strengthening.

People claiming we can win the league and who champion the cases of Robinson and Flannagan at the same time are deluded.
Talented young lads of course, but we won't win the league playing these lads who've had barely five games between them up to now.

I've tipped us to get back in the Champions League places this season and then we can start use that as clout as well some serious funds to attract the world class names we need to take us to number 19.

I remain convinced that we will win the title this season on the basis that I remain convinced that Kenny will not allow us to enter the season without a new CB. That's the key, IMO, for the title challenge. If we don't sign a CB worthy of the name then I'll be highly doubtful.

I also agree with Modo - someone else up front would be nice. The goals look evenly distributed but we do lack a real goal scorer; a poacher. A young Michael Owen or someone along the lines of the Mancs little wonder boy would be very nice to throw on in some games.

The mancs are obviously still the team to beat but, with the above caveats in place, I remain a firmly entrenched member of the DA.

title talk is putting too much pressure on a team in transition. if you were going to be really cynical you could say when pressure was applied to the team last season for a european place they fucked up the final two games.

[/quote]And you would indeed be talkin utter shit to do that.
There is no talk of the title at the club, in fact 99% of the fans think top 4 would be great. So keep your 'calm it down lads, lets walk before we can run' bullshit for the negative ninnies.
