It was pretty clear to me. Alisson, the obvious moment aside, and despite the fact that West Ham put us under reasonable pressure in the game, had relatively little to do-- other than pass. And on at least 2 occasions he played a catastrophic pass that should really have cost us the points. Nunez had moments where he showed us what he was all about, and he scored the goal, but his quality vacillated pretty wildly. Hendo ran the midfield with Thiago, played a number of penetrating passes that on another day could have ended in goals, and pressed relentlessly the entire game. We lost a fair bit of control after the changes, but Henderson still did his job admirably.

But Alisson played a huge role in turning our season around - that pass for Salah and the penalty save. The shot in the arm in terms of confidence it gave is immeasurable.

We're talking about the best player in this game, not Alisson's contribution overall, which is obviously far above any others.

Depends where you are and who you talk to. I can guarantee you in the UK you'd be in front of HR if you used that term in a workplace setting.
You can "guarantee" that can you?

So, 100% of the time, someone uses that term in a workplace setting, they would be subject to disciplinary action, would they?
Strange that neither myself nor any of the friends or relations I consulted on the matter have come across this nightmare scenario that you "guarantee".

Not saying that someone, somewhere wouldn't take offence to it and seek justice through their particular HR dept. I just take issue with the notion you're asserting that it would ALWAYS happen.

Just waiting for the LBC presenters, Nick Ferrari and Sangita Myska to be disciplined, forthwith, as they've both use the term within the last few days.

If I've got that wrong, then I hold my hands up, and my inclusivity training needs to be updated.

I do maintain that some people will likely find offence to it like they do with BAME and BME so it's best to avoid it altogether.

Obviously hendo was a caused of racism by that slimy cunt..

Did Holgate ever apologise to Bobby after That bullshit he tried to pull on him

English FA Rule “No Case to Answer” in Henderson-Gabriel Incident
The investigation into the incident in the Arsenal vs. Liverpool match has been closed with no charges laid.

After a lengthy investigation into an alleged incident between Jordan Henderson and Gabriel Jesus McPuta during the recent game between Arsenal and Liverpool, the FA have concluded that there are no chargers to answer for the players involved and dismissed any case.

English football’s governing body said that they examined footage, took statements from the officials, and interviewed six players within proximity of the flare-up and could find no evidence that anything unacceptable was said.

“Following an investigation into an allegation, The FA can confirm that it will not be taking any disciplinary action,” a statement on the matter read. “The FA received a complaint about an incident involving two players in this fixture.

“As a result of the complaint, The FA conducted a full and thorough investigation. The investigation included taking witness statements from the complainant and accused, along with an additional six players who were within proximity of the alleged incident, reviewing multiple angles of video footage, and seeking independent linguistics experts evidence.

“None of the witnesses heard the alleged comment, and the player accused strenuously denied the allegation throughout. Whilst The FA is entirely satisfied that the allegation was made in good faith, it is equally satisfied that there is no case to answer.”

Those determined to know what exactly it was that was herd or believed to be said will remain unsatisfied, as similar to the players and managers of both clubs following the match, the FA shed no light on any details of the accusation.

So Henderson appaz said "fucking idiot", and then Gabriel thought he said something much worse in Portuguese.
Guessing thats why Firmino etc reacted to what Gabriel said.

Why Gabriel thought Hendo was giving him shit in Portuguese is anyone's guess.
