Why stop at £150m? Go for £300m? Or the other direction, why take it when you were already minted and could do your own thing.

It’s not the best job in the world. He’s fucking lying. You can see it in his face when dealing with the media or press. I bet there are parts he absolutely loves but there are others he despises. He’s exhausted because of the job which is partly his own fault. It most definitely isn’t the best job in the world.

I’d also like to know why he’s talking about his successor in a press conference. He should be addressing the shit show that was Wednesday night and what the fuck he’s going to be doing about it. He should’ve stopped that line of questioning in its tracks.

He's not lying, he's just burned out, I don't get what is so hard to understand about this. He would hate an easier job, he just can't do this one right now. He's not a spring chicken.

I absolutely agree he would hate an easier job. I’ll bet he will absolutely hate having no job. Come October he is going to be bored out of his head.

It’s a nonsense line he’s thrown out there because we all know at times it’s a fucking crappy job at times.

I got burned out doing my favourite job so far. I was relieved it was over because I was so focused on it that other aspects of my life were just flowing by. Then I was bummed about 6 months later. Both emotions can be true.

No worries, just sharing things I read - not necessarily cos' I agree/am overly impressed.

Afterall, PSV scored 19 and conceded 1 in their last 3 league games inc. vs. 4th and 10th placed teams.
 
All i've just read doesnt fill me with much confidence about him.
If he's another Ten Hag, he wont last long though.
Unlike what Carra is saying, it will be a very difficult job being LFC manager after Klopp
 
All the reading and interviews provide nice/interesting insights but in the press/social media, every time someone gets a job (esp. those who "made the step up" from less competitive leagues or "smaller" clubs), positive reports and references are published so best not to get hopes too high for a start.



For example, Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan who said these about Slot

"Liverpool fans should be confident because Slot does not lack any confidence and he will play the way he wants," he said. "He has a super attacking style and it is very similar to that of Pep Guardiola.
