Blunt but friendly is fine with me.Haha. I don't hate the Dutch, I lived there for a couple of years and they treated me wonderfully well, one couple even let me sleep on their sofa for 3 months ! They are very blunt, very, but friendly. And tall. Bloody hell are they tall.
Eat Shit fire crotch.Blunt but friendly is fine with me.

But football wise Amorim was never a good fit with our current players and style.Looks like Baldy is gonna take the job. Stats wise Amorim has a better win % in a tougher league

Except the Portuguese league is a lot less competitive. Nobody out of the big 3 has *ever* won the Portuguese league. A handful of other teams like Alkmaar and Twente have won the Dutch title. Is it really a tougher league though?
It's 2 teams (besides Sporting).....the rest are all league 2 level.
Feyenoord are a lot like Sporting, seen as the 3rd biggest in the country in a league that only has 3 teams.
Also 58 of those 204 games were managing AZ who are probably the 4/5th biggest.
The spreadsheet lads are gonna start pumping his frontal cortex full of xg stats with one of them Elon Musk brain machines from the first minute. Perfect manchurian candidate material. His press conferences are just gonna be text to speech binny posts with the odd bit of fascism sprinkled in.
One of the stats they may pull out is the xPTS to prove his side putting up a stronger title challenge than the current trailing by 9 pts suggest.

Unlike Moyes until last season, he’s actually won trophies. All while playing attractive football and developing youth.Ah yes, the "... but he is a winner" stat.

Al must be sacrificedHe is. RIP.
Absolutely, I also take into account where they finished the season before and by what margin they won the title......for sure it makes for impressive reading for Amorim. The circumstances in which the league title was won should be taken into consideration too.
Players Ajax and PSV lost in 22/23's transfer windows:
- Mazraoui, Gravenberch, Haller, Martínez, Tagliafico, Schuurs, Antony
- Götze, Dōan, Gakpo, Madueke
20/21
- Benfica "invested €105 million amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a record investment in Portuguese football" (net spend 30m, thanks to sale of Dias)
- a Porto side that reached the CL quarter finals (won 4 of the 6 grp stage games, knocked Juve out in the round of 16)
Reports are he's being a bit greedy and wants 10m a year and ruled himself out of both West Ham and us.Wonder what issue with Amorim is?
