Has Salah changed?

Didn’t count but Salah scored a penalty that Origi won and set up another while he was on the pitch.

So basically, what I said last time still works ... Origi didn't create much havoc either - he was rather poor, and Salah has been creating havoc for a few games now.

Love seeing deranged disgruntled haters tweeting the league table if xG was playing out. Sorry for having better players than you.

Morons think the it's evidence of a conspiracy when xg measures what would happen if an average player was in that situation. Like it's cheating to have the best goalie and forwards in the world now

Here's what the league table would look like if Man United had Messi, Timo Werner, Koulibaly, Kante, M'Bappe, Kimmich, Alba and Sancho in their team:

1) Liverpool
2) Man Utd

What a footballer this lad is.

What's that? 14 league goals? And it's February. One of our greatest ever signings

He's playing so well again and passing at the right times. No selfishness at all today, quite the opposite. Coincidence this is happening without Mane? I think so.

Well it looks like he can play with Origi and create havoc without Mane when needed

This team doesn’t rely or depend on any one player. By now it should be pretty clear.

Alisson goes down, Adrian goes 8-0 in the league. Matip goes down, Gomez comes in and bosses it. Fabinho goes down and we don’t skip a beat. Now Mane goes down and we will continue to win, even if there will be games where his ridiculous skills will be missed.

This team is about the sum of the parts and how each player is an important cog in what is a winning machine.

Heavily rely on Van Dijk.

Ok. So I see Mo has crept up the scoring charts and is only a hattrick off Jamie Vardy for the golden boot again. Does this mean he's going to stop his recent stint of unselfish play and go back to being a greedy, selfish mofo again? (Like he was towards the end of last season)

Gosh, I hope not.

I see hes overtaken Torres and hes now only 1 behind Suarez in the premier league total. He will surely over take Suarez this season. The fact hes done that in alot less games than 2 guys who were considered world class when they played for us tells you how good hes been for the last 2.5 years.

Owen, Gerrard and Fowler are probably out of his reach unless he spends the rest of his career at Anfield simply because of the number of games played but I dont doubt if Salah played another 3 or 4 years here he would finish as our PL top scorer. Hes a machine.

Nice to see the old Salah back for the last two games. Smiles and passes.

On track to get 100 goals for us by the end of the season.

I don't think it's a coincidence. In fact it's the same for Mane – he also takes on a bit of extra responsibility and swagger when Mo is not around. They both want to be the main man in attack and raise their game when they are given the chance to be that. But we're still better off when both are playing, obviously.

For me that's overstating it. Virgil's massive for us in every sense and I would always want to see him in the side, but if he were to be out for a couple of games or so I don't reckon we'd collapse. The momentum we've now built up wouldn't let that happen.

Thought he was very good yesterday, that one when he dinked the keeper, very good, can only do that if you're back full of confidence. As usual though in a game where we've given someone a right smacking - bobby was making everything happen upfront.
