He's an intolerable cunt isn't he? What right does he have to be mouthing off about other players contract, disgustingly disrepectful and unprofessional behaviour. And he manages that shit heap of a club.

Newcastle striker Demba Ba could be offloaded for as little as £5million according to Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.

Ba is one of this season's real success stories after bagging 15 goals since moving to St James' Park from West Ham in the summer.

And now Redknapp has claimed that figure could be as low as £5m, which would surely encourage Liverpool and Tottenham to make bids this January.

Pressed on the reported £10m release-clause, Redknapp said: 'I think you will find it is a lot less than that.'

Asked if was as little as £7m, Redknapp added: 'Even less than that.'

Ba has scored 15 goals for the Magpies since moving north from east London in the summer, including a stunner in the 3-0 win over Manchester United last week.

Ba, who is the Premier League's second top scorer behind Robin van Persie, was named Barclays Player of the Month for December.

However, Newcastle will lose his services as he has now left the country to play in the Africa Cup of Nations with club-mate Cheick Tiote, who will star for the Ivory Coast.

If Del Boy is speaking the truth, we really should be interested at £5-7million.

Yeah, he was mouthing off last week about a £10m clause, now he's acting like the big insider saying this shit, when it's pretty obvious based on last weeks comments that he's only just found out.

The FA and Newcastle should go to town on him, but they won't.

Quite he's one of the FA's favourites so no chance. It's blatantly him trying to unsettle Ba, I have no idea how he can get away with it.

I hope Ba's Da was Scottish and also his agent that way he'll think Kenny is great and want to sign for us instead of Spurs.

If it is £5 million we'd be mad not to give it a go.

He has his tax evasion case in the next week or so doesn't he? Fingers crossed they lock the cunt up.

Edit: Jan 23rd it starts.

Hasn't he escaped a few things before? Have they decided who should lead UK in London olympics?
Stuart Pearce.

The UK team is doomed, DOOMED I SAY.

You need to let this hatred of all things Spurs go... 😉
Not gonna happen until they're relegated mate, horrid little club.

How did he know and why did he said those things? Obviously he either enquired or the player was touted around. He's basically trying to unsettle the player or create problems for Newcastle/Pardew.

I was thinking the exact same when i read his quotes about Samba

"I like Samba, he is a good player," said Redknapp. "I wouldn't want to say it's an impossibility.

"At the moment he belongs to Blackburn but he's a good player."

To be honest it's a little tiring how it's one rule for him and another for others just cause he smokes the media's cock. Remember how the media jumped on rafa when o'neill flipped his lid cause a paper said we wanted barry ...no rafa quotes or anything just an article but that was enough . ridiculous .

He's at stuff like this every single week. Odious is a fine word to describe the man. A media whore if ever there was one as well. You'll see stuff like this regularly on Sky. Honestly, now you've noticed one case you'll notice him tapping up players and continually getting away with it...has the media wrapped round his little finger though. Can you imagine another Premier League manager was up on charges like he is? They would be slaughtered

Can we have some more hating of Harry Redknapp and Spurs in this thread please?

This is a very good point, if it was Kenny, Arsene, AVB, shit would hit the fan, as it's Harry it's barely even mentioned

If he wasn't filmed saying this through the window of his car then this is unreliable. Redknapp as we know, only gets quoted as he drives into the training ground. FACT!

He really doesn't bother me that much. He says what he thinks. It's a lot more palatable than the mewling cliches that the other 7 billion managers offer up.

The cunt has an opinion on *everything*.
His interviews with Sky are sickening, sugar ladled, arse licking bullshit.
Only the F.A could be considering this fucking mong as a national manager.

Yeah there is a point to that and it wouldn't bother me so much if it was the same for other managers but it's not . If say a dirty foreign manager said something like that then the media and fans would be all over him, "how dare he upset someone else's player , he tapping him up , throw the book at him " ...but as it's 'Arry it's grand . But I guess being 'Arry stretches past the media as i haven't heard any other club or manager tell him to shut his melted pie hole .

From BBC website. Samba this time:

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admits he has been impressed by Blackburn's Christopher Samba, but insists he is not near to making any signings.

Defender Samba, along with Bolton's Gary Cahill, has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane in January.

"Samba's a good player. A real good player. I like the pair of them," said the Spurs boss.

Redknapp also confirmed an interest in Marseille striker Loic Remy, but added that he was "not close to anything".

This is such a rarity. 😛

At a press conference on Friday, Redknapp rejected the rumours, insisting he had never even heard of the Brazilian international.

''Ganso? I have never heard of him. I don't know him, where does he play? What position?''

''I don't get to Brazil much. We got Sandro from there but other than that, no.''
