Captain Beefart? For a painter I guess he was an OK singer.

Incidentally, "a pioneer" is what you call a bloke with pastry on the side of his head.

Haha - I do hope that was a typo you philistine! CB was a god amongst men. A true artist! 😉

And AC Milan were up by three, if only one of Nesta, Maldini, Pirlo, Gattuso or Shevchenko was a leader.
So we're Bournemouth?
Also they stopped the leak at 3 goals not 4 and then controlled the rest of the game.

If you're gonna say that about every team that have thrown away a lead then there wont be many leaders left....

Is that the game where Lucas played instead of Klavan ? Someone said he was a leader oh Milner was playing too and Henderson. So it's not a very good example [emoji849]

Yes, in comparison to that Milan team we were fucking Bournemouth, and they also lost the game, where were their leaders during that shootout?

By your hilarious logic a team with John Terry captaining it would never throw away a lead, despite him and many other better captains, like the aforementioned Maldini, having done exactly that in the past. But don't let that awkward fact get in the way of you taking yet another snipe at Henderson, will you ever stop being bitter that he's ten times the player that Lucas is?

Is this one of your weird cruzades @Modo mate? Because, even you know that you can't pick one odd game and then use that to prove something far more complex.

I do agree mind you that this current team would blossom further with a strong leader added to it.

*And by 'strong' I don't mean a Lucas type whom I do not think of as a leader at all. Maybe he is a perfect Pro, a friendly comrade, funny dude in the changing room etc.
Not a leader of men though.

Dont believe a team with Roy Keane captaining them would throw away a 3-1 lead to Bournemouth.
Henderson is a meh captain and so is everyone else like Lucas, Milner and Lovren or whoever I mentioned. That's my opinion.

O' Captain My Captain.... I'm going to say maybe he should be like Captain Beefheart. A pioneer.

If you're talking about great captains throughout history, you'd have to consider Captain Beefheart.

Other great captains:

Captain Crunch
Captain Highliner
The captain and Tenille
The Captain (from How I Met Your Mother)
