To me, Stevie looks a bit worried about whether Coutinho can still run. “All right, Phil, let’s try this again, left foot, now right foot, that’s a good lad” (muttering under his breath “what did they DO to you at Barcelona?”)
The move to Aston Villa looking to be a right decision, albeit midway through the season. Besides the money available to improve the squad, it's a good test/display of his ability as a manager in terms of
"resurrecting" the career of Coutinho
nurturing Ramsey in fulfilling his full potential
pushing the likes of Watkins and McGinn towards the next level
leading the club to the next level of consistently qualifying for European football
Quite like the "ruthlessness" in bringing in a better player in Digne despite Targett being a reliable LB since joining from Southampton.

Gini isn't part of the gang. He should sign Lucas and LovrenIf he signs Gini and Pepe Reina i might have no choice but to support them

If we did we could get an official zimmerframe supplier deal. He’s about as mobile as I am.Why aren't we getting Suarez?
I was just thinking about this – Gerrard has shown an uncanny ability to time things just right and make bold and calculated decisions to further his career. He is also clearly getting buy-in from his new employers; securing the guarantees of transfer funds, time and trust to rebuild the team to his liking, unlike some other managers who jump at the opportunity and then immediately start blaming the owners for not giving them what they want. For a novice manager, that's especially impressive.
For an example of a total opposite, look at Shevchenko – actually a decent coach, as he's shown in charge of Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national team, but consistently making bad career decisions – from pushing for that disastrous Chelsea move as a player to now being on the verge of a sack at Genoa after just 10 games in charge, tying himself to a sinking ship and a squad totally unsuited for his ideas for his first (and now it seems possibly last) job in Serie A.
Whether you like him or not, you have to admire it though. Everywhere Stevie goes, he gets results and respect. He's a born winner, and a leader.
You don’t have to win to be a winner. They drew last night didn’t they?
