Liverpool Football Club's Steven Gerrard has been voted the world's sexiest footballer by gay men, this week.
The midfielder – who also plays for England – topped the survey which was conducted by online dating site Gaydar.
More than 4,200 users responded to the survey in which they were also asked to rank players in a series of categories.
Former Liverpool player Fernando Torres, who defected to Chelsea in 2010, was in second place, while Frank Lampard came third.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch didn't share their success – he received just two per cent of the vote, leaving him bottom of the list.
Conversely, Wayne Rooney was identified as having the "worst hair" despite recently having a hair transplant.
Despite this, the survey also quizzed Gaydar users about levels of homophobia in sport. Twelve per cent of those polled said they would not feel safe at a Premier League match and more than two-thirds of gay men do not attend football matches at all.
Simon Johnson, product manager for Gaydar.co.uk, told The Mirror: "It's not surprising that only a small number of gay men go to football matches.
"What is shocking is that so many aren't going because they're worried about their safety due to homophobia within the sport."
