I must say the term 'flabby melt' has now ascended to join the most heady ranks of the SCM lexicon.
Call it what you want. Almost every post of his in this thread was countered by at least one person pointing out why he was wrong. Pretty much every statement, stat, and opinion was shown to be balls. Why is this such an issue with the mods at the moment? No one is abusing him.

Why are you seeing it as an issue? I couldn't give a fuck, it was a reasonable opening post and it's sparked some good responses. I don't think any of it was shown to be "balls". Fabio, myself and others have posted similar points (to Brendan) throughout the thread, I don't see how there's a right or wrong opinion here. You either think we can improve or that everything's brilliant and we don't need to. It's subjective and interesting, it's not a competition. It's why it turned out to be a good thread, apart from a few whinging twats moaning about trolling and stuff.

This is all getting a bit silly now, there was lots of thorough debate at the beginning lf the thread, and Brendan has been made to look the right fool over his opinions about Firmino and his feable attempts to backtrack, however he's hardly going to stick his hands up and say I got it utterly wrong, that's not his style, so there's no point in searching for it. Just stick to the proper debate, well structured arguments are a much better way to get the point across, the one we were having about requiring a 20 goal striker was great, and we had lots of differing opinions from a variety of posters, that was super, more of that please.
However, as soon as Brendan comes out with another one of his bullshit "just like I've always said" lines as he changes his story about a subject yet again, then I don't think anyone, even the mods, could begrudge people serving that shit right back in his face, thankfully that's been fairly abscent in this thread, I think.
