All security issues should now be closed. It is important however to consider the following:

(1) If you used the same email/passwords combination to access this forum as you do other systems - change the passwords on ALL those systems IMMEDIATELY. You may be at risk otherwise
(2) Never, under any circumstances use the same same email/passwords combination to access this forum as you do other systems - especially those that may contain secure and personal information
(3) Change and secure your passwords on a regular basis.
(4) Make passwords as complex as you can

(5) Additionally, please consider using a password manager. They are not expensive nor difficult to use (and most are multi-platform).
Please see Roboform, as an example.

(6) If you cannot afford the tenner a year, then at least consider using some simple 'tricks' in your password. You'll be surprised how much more secure is will become, if you use spaces in your favorite phrase or use the phrase in brackets.

My security consists off Keepass (free password manager) + free version of avast! +NoScript + mild paranoia. In years of constant internet activity (much of it in the dodgier areas, downloading pirated stuff almost daily) I have never had any serious issues.
