Brazilian window closes today doesnt it?
Won’t stop foreign clubs raidin’ and pillagin’ Brazilian clubs. They’re potentially sittin’ ducks. That’s why the premier league window has now been synchronised with that in rest of Europe.

If Saudi's bid 200m for Mo on 20th Sep, who's taking it?

Actually let's make it 300m.

Previous posts shared on Andre on the The search for a new DM thread. Valuation Joyce mentioned seemed to be £20m.

I don't think he's more of a risk than Lavia, partly because he will probably cost 50% (or more) lesser but is not "half worse". I don't think we are in for him though - hopefully Schmadtke proves me wrong.

Not sure how trustable this guy is but from what I have seen, amongst those young midfielders plying their trade in Argentina & Brazil over the past season, Andre > Danilo, Gomes and Valera

Danilo and Gomes thrusted straight into relegation fights (esp. the former) hasn't done too badly too? Or even Alcaraz (yeah, not DM, but another example of a young player moving to English football from SA).

No one is like King Binny. There is only one King.

I’m more Prince Charming with poor copy + paste skills.
I was really impressed, its hard copying certain graphics and you can't just do copy and paste. It requires cropping, uploading and then copy and paste. Alot of effort. King Binny is AI so he/it just has to think it, and the computer does it.

Well if we sign him, Klopp has to have a talk with him about his habitual dribbling raids.

Fluminense stance

Pay €25m in installments and take him in Jan 2024
Or pay €40m in one installment and take him now.

Getting a bit repetitive this shit.

First option.

Get him signed and registered 1st Jan and he'll still have a big role to play for us this season. He'll be able to play the league cup final, FA cup final, EL final and score the winner on the last day that secures the Prem.

I'm in!!!

Sounds like the new Wijnaldum to me. Ball retention, anticipation, sideways passing and dribbling to beat the press.
Time for a rant...(not directed at you darkstarexodus)
Gini was a fucking genius on the pitch. I really don't understand the criticism of Gini on here while at the same time lauding Hendo as if he was some kind of midfield God.
Gini was a much better player than Hendo ever was.
Let's be honest, if we look at the best midfielders we've had over the past 20 years or so, I'm talking about the best, not the likes of Poulsen and Igor Biscan, he would probably be on the bottom of the list.

Who was Hendo better than?
Gerrard
Alonso
Mascherano
Fabs
Gini
Thiago
McAllister (Gary)
Hamann

A big nope on all of them.

Hendo is on Redknapp, Meireles territory imo.
Better than, Lucas and Allen obviously.

I was never a big fan of Gini when he was playing for some reason, I think it was always the check back, 5 yard passes, lack of penetration or risk taking and slowing down all our attacks.

Countless times I labelled the guy a passenger or ghost but over time I realized to overcome my preference over what a midfielder should be in this side for the importance they actually play in the team. For the last 2-3 years or however long it's been now I value the importance he (as well as Fab, Hendo and Millie) played in our success. Robbo and Trent couldn't be these fullbacks who've changed the dynamic of how fullbacks are supposed to play or viewed in this modern time without these guys around.

Ok none of them were play-makers, none of them really had many goals or assists in them but they were always reliable in terms of fitness and availability (especially Gini).....they allowed Salah Sadio and Bobby to do their thing without paying too much attention what was coming back the other way.

Very few central midfielders, past, present and future, who put in a defensive shift will have a compilation as good as this

Underrated when he was here.

Exactly this.
I usually say that compilations aren't a great indicator of how good a player is but if you compare Gini's compilations to Hendo's you'll see a vast difference in skill.

Hendo in a nutshell

Yup hendo was total shite that’s why he played for the club for 12 years and became captain of a side that won pretty much everything.
