Footy soft spots

What sort of cunt are you? Even if this is true, you just don't admit it on an LFC forum and then wonder why you'd get shit!!

I haven't 'got shit' for it and why should I keep it to myself? I don't care whether it's a Liverpool forum or not. Why change who I am or attempt to hide it just because of the company I am in? What a bizarre thing to say... cunt.

I think you're all mad. Except Spionkop69, he knows the score.

Fuck other teams. I'll watch pretty much any match, cos I enjoy footy, fuck, at one point before you could get 3pm sat kick offs o satellite I lived quite literally 30 seconds walk from goodison & if I couldn't afford to go the away game I'd go watch the blueshite (it was only a couple of quid to get in).

I've not got a soft spot for any of them though. Not even the 'underdog' teams that I want to win watching fa Cup games.

I've got no room in my heart for another team. I don't understand how anyone has.

Well it's not like I 'support' them FFF. That's completely different. In that regard there is only one team. Let me put it this way. Are there any team you particularly hate? For me that would be Spurs and Utd. My little soft spot teams (The Toon & Hammers) - I just don't mind them.

I hate Utd, Forest (that's a weird one as they were never a threat to us whilst I stood on the Kop, I was just taught to hate them by the old heads around me, who taught me how to behave as a red), Arsenal, & more recently, Chelsea (attitude of their fans).

I don't want any team to win unless they're playing a team I hate or unless the result will help Liverpool. I'm very single minded in that regard.

Perhaps it's a bit different for us that didn't grow up in Liverpool.

Except for Spion.

He may have a point actually.

In Liverpool you rarely, if ever, regularly see another team play in the flesh, cos they're aren't any (Everton dont really count as they're rivals), whereas the rest of the country usually have a number of teams at different levels playing in close proximity to each other in & around towns.

As a not that related aside,
I remember staying with my nan in Scotland & having a kick about with my uncle in his local park, we say a team training & ended up having a kick about with them.

He told me afterwards that it was Ross County. I was astounded a professional team trained in the local park!

Oh dear, sense of humour failure.

Loads of teams I like in Europe but none in the Premier league.
I do like Wolves a bit though, mainly because of Steve Bull who was the most natural goalscorer outside the 1 divison in the old days.

Nantes, Stuttgart, Atalanta, Sevilla. Teams that were pretty good at one stage when I was growing up and that have just stuck a bit. Never watch any of them these days mind.

Its Liverpool all the way and has been so since 1989. First game was Chelsea - Liverpool 2-5

I was more laughing at the Spion bit. As you and me both know there is not many more frenzied die hards than Spion. Fuck me watching a match with the fella is sometimes more entertaining than watching the game! I do love the mad bugger though!

1 team person.. Your are all gayers the lot of you... excluding FFF and spionkop. No soft spot for anyone else other than Liverpool

Suprised no one has mentioned Chlelsea yet...

I will watch Tranmere occasionally, but I don't have a soft spot for them

Liverpool and who ever is playing Man united.

Used to try catch Southampton and Blackburn games when I was younger to watch Le Tissier and Shearer. That's about it.

Sine he retired I have a soft spot for Ferguson.

Its called a bog.

I quite like Moyes. Sincerely. Also for some reason the longer he stays at Utd the more I like him. Seems weird to like a Utd manager....

Barnet. Not that I watch out for results, but have fond memories of going to a game in 1999 while in uni in London and some mates had came over from Belfast. Was a boozy little day, they played Cheltenham.

Another one is Macclesfield. Who can forget the time they won the FA Cup, League and Champions League under managerial mastermind Mr Bradley?

*I spent too much time playing football manager*

Leeds?
Fuck me they are the scummiest shower of cunts in Europe.
Bilboa would be the team I respect the most.
Just the way they stick to their philosophy and are fairly harmless.

'You are' or 'You're': take your pick.

I go to a lot of lower league games, particularly Rochdale, Bury, Stockport (now non-league) and Bolton but have never developed an affinity to any of them and the result of their games are an irrelevance to me. I go to Burnley at least twice a season with a friend who was born there (even though she's now a LFC fan) and we have a great time and I love our Turf Moor visits (but, again, I don't really care whether they win or not).

I try to go to watch FC Zlin (my wife's home town in Czech) when I go there and I keep an eye on their results.

I'm one of 2 Liverpool/FC Zlin fans on this site but the other @Steevensky has yet to post 🙂
