A new thread to keep the great work going. We might even have some new posters to the thread for at least the first few months of the year!
This year I am just wanting to get myself lean and fit (don't we all!) and think i've got a good opportunity to actually do it now that I don't kill my muscles rowing all the time.
I'm signed up for a 72 mile bike event in March so running up to that I am planning to just get a lot fitter, keep the diet in check to lose some fat and get my legs + lower back a lot stronger.
One focus for the first 3 months will be to get my squats stronger. At the moment I am struggling to do more than 4-5 reps on 90kg and I would ideally get this to 110/120kg doing 3 x 8 by March. Deadlifts i'm also pretty weak on and struggling to do more than 100kg so just aiming to stick it out with these along with lots of spin classes/ cycling at weekends.
