It's working
They're all doing it just to annoy you.
Yeah. Plus suarez could do that incredible striker thing where he would always, always know where & how to hit it, & use the outside of his foot equally as well as the inside to bury it. I've only seen Fowler hit shots with that combination of control & power under pressure as well as him wearing a Liverpool shirt. He's absolutely fucking nothing like Suarez. Even when Suarez was missing loads of sitters he was doing that crazy cutting inside and making people fall over and generally doing shit with a footy that I'd never seen before. Firminho will never be in that league. But he looks decent.
"And here's another player that rarely ever plays 90 minutes" - About Lallana as he was subbed IN the 90th minute.
It's bad times when you're hoping Gary Neville calls him out on his verbal bullshit during a match.
Towards the end of the match when Hart made another boss save he suddenly said "Hart does well again, he's a tremendous ambassador for England".Yes. He obviously forgot he was talking about one of his precious England players. The number of times during a game that Tyler seems to get bored and starts referring to England never fails to amaze me. There can be a fast counter-attack, full of promise, and he'll suddenly break off to ponder the next England game. He's really weird these days.
I was half asleep when watching MOTD on saturday but im pretty sure keown was questioniong whether can meant the back heel.
The whole false 9 stuff has me completely baffled. What the fuck is it, exactly?Firmino was a striker against City. This false 9 stuff is absolute bullocks. He plays up top for Brazil and is comfortable doing so.

Is it because no one knows?No-one will ever tell you exactly.
I actually think he meant the back heel directly for firmino. If you look at where he's looking it's towards firmino rather than coutinho- even after he passed it he turned the other way. It's like he slightly mishit the back heel and it rolled to little Phil. I'm pretty sure he'd have had to have magic vision to see that pass as it turned out. Credit to him for trying though and I still think firmino would have got it just would have been running away from goal.

Well, that's cleared it right up.Number 6 upside down
I was quite fascinated by Can - he seldom looks up before he passes but he played some really clever, or at least clever-looking, passes. I don't quite know if he does it as a trick, like 'giving the eyes,' or he's just eccentric. Or maybe he's able to glance once and have an amazing sense of where players are.
Yes and then Hart let in the 4th goal. Some ambassador.Towards the end of the match when Hart made another boss save he suddenly said "Hart does well again, he's a tremendous ambassador for England".
Mental.

In fairness Keown would suck the joy out of Mardi Gras.Would add Owen haregreveas on bt sport as being insightful.

Reminds me of Suarez in year 1. His chances to conversion ratio was awful. And, he biggest contribution was winning the ball back and making a killer pass in the box (eg Man U Kuyt hat-trick). It wasn't until the 3rd year that he could hardly miss (unless we were playing Norwich, who seemed to love from day 1).
All Firmino needs is his own Norwich to get his confidence up and he'll be off to the races.
is it me or was he off his game this past weekend?
He was dreadful.
If he can do something like this, in his first season like Luis, I'll accept the comparison
I was listening on the radio as I had other things to do that day, and the commentator was totally stumped for what to say. He couldn't make out what Suarez had actually done, nor could he figure out how it was even possible.
I still make the King our greatest ever player, for a whole variety of reasons, but if the question were to be "Who's the most talented footballer you've ever seen play for LFC?" I'd vote for Suarez now. There were times when the only response I could make to what he did with the ball was to LOL.
It fucks me off that we're not good enough to have players of Suarez's ability stay with us for any meaningful length of time.
Manure lost Ronaldo at his peak. If either of those two Spanish clubs want your player it doesn't matter which club he's at.
If a player wants to go to Chelsea or Citeh, fuck them. It was a blessing with Torres, and Sterling is a balloon huffing little quilt.
What reasons are there beyond more money and likelihood of trophies? That's it.
We know we're not going to run at a loss so we're always going to lose players to those who can pay more. They've brought Klopp in to try to sort the success issue out, which of course brings more dosh via CL money and better sponsorship if it works. I don't know what else I'd do if I was running the place.
