I've seen a few people having a go at the journalists, saying it's unfair framing him like that.
I don't. There are some types of investigative journalism that step over a line that is unacceptable but in this case they've obviously had a tip off and found him out.

Well yeah, they may have misled him, but no one made him act the big I am, start offering to circumvent rules, slag off his employers & the previous manager.
Were you in any other job & got overheard slagging your employers, as well as offering to help circumvent company policy you'd be out on your ear too.

The FA were either a disgrace for knowing what he got up to in the past and ignoring it, or else they're a disgrace for failing to know what was pretty common knowledge before hiring him.
