I doubt the players are thinking much about anything. Probably too immersed in video games.
As for Allardyce, it would be extraordinary if the old fool finally got his dream job and then lost it after just one game.
The first concern should be the FA. Allardyce had a reputation for shady deals and greedy attitudes years before he was considered for the job - there was even a BBC investigation into his activities, which earned them a Ginsoak-style ban from Fat Sam. So where was their due diligence?
And if they sack him, then they're really in deep shit, because there's no one else around except Southgate, and he's certainly not the man to make this squad of wimps into mentally tough warriors, seeing as he's presided over several dismal collapses in under 21 tournaments. At this rate they'll be hiring Neil Warnock!
Conte could be available soon!!
Whether one likes the guy or not, this undercover stuff is a bit of a cunts trick isn't it?
Cue an urgent FA appeal to Woy - sowwy, Roy - to come back as caretaker.
It would be funny if they DID object to Roy being called Woy. The repercussions would be huge. Just imagine, in four years time, there are all these promising players in their early 20s, and suddenly their Facebook posts from the summer of 2016 are retrieved, with 'Woy's a wanker' and 'Woy Out!' etc. Long term bans for masses of players!

Ha ha, that's priceless. I'm pretty sure the Mirror and other papers have referred to Roy as Woy, so good luck to them covering THAT aspect!
The 3rd party ownership aside (which is massive) his other comments were fair and what other people have been thinking re: roy / fa
There are 10 other managers who have been involved in the sting
I bet Sir Alf wouldn't have been caught out. Now there was a man who was cautious about giving out too much information. In one of my favourite interviews, Alf - of course, a notorious snob who tried desperately to hide his humble background and sound posh - was asked: 'I believe you actually come from working class stock?' Alf, looking a bit queasy, replied: 'Indeed. From Dagenham, I gather'. Not 'I'm from Dagenham' but merely 'From Dagenham, I gather'! Learn from him, Sam!
A bit strange this - was it really a setup to trap him ? - if so he has really fucked up. I wonder what the players are thinking right now.
These newspaper stings are tiresome. Bloke gets an invite, accepts, says nothing of note and adds that any deal would have to be run past the FA anyway. Cue grainy photo in bar with drinks on a table.... therefore must be fishy.
Fuck off.
What's with these self righteous hacks?
I'm no fan of Allardyce but it's time to stop trying to entrap people. Boring, uninteresting, tedious shite.

Neil Warnock (LOL - but then it is the FA). I would not be surprised if the likes of Ferguson who had a very cordial relationship with many of the English managers in this league struck deals with them or got something from them for some of his victories. Ferguson kind of timed his departure in a moment where the PL has many foreign managers and less likely to give a shit about his mind games.
I deserved more love for the title.
I should have just put 'Stupid fat cunt' would have got more love.

Yup, it's called greed and he's got called out for it, so what was the problem again? Are you for real?
No one forced sam to say what he did.
He said what he did beasue of £££
..so accepting a £400,000 pay-off to help shady people doing their shady business is saying nothing of note? These newspaper stings are tiresome. The thing is if you decide to meet up with shady 'businessmen' to do shady business you better prepare yourself to get caught out at some stage.. putting 'blame' on the one with the cam is a bit silly really.
