There's every chance that we'll end up finishing 10-12th and with that in mind, does Kenny have to win the FA cup final to have any chance of keeping his job ?

Will that even be enough?

If Chelsea are not in the top 4 then I think its ok for us to also not be in the CL position, and in all honesty what is there to fight for in the league - except our pride ? but I don't think this team has any but not due to the players not wanting to win but more that there were too many trying to establish themselves at a new club. After the first few games it was obvious we were going to struggle this season to play consistently. If Kenny is to have any chance of retaining the title then the FA cup is a MUST, but it may not be enough. To be honest I don't believe that any one other than Jose Mourinho will make any difference to the current team. Everyone of those players needs sunshine being poured into their crusty arseholes and Kenny despite his best at pouring it in cannot put enough in. I don't think there are any managers out there for us to go after that may make a difference. The only safe bet I would be willing to try is Martin O'Neil, coz Jose ain't going to come here is he ?

Anyway who gives a f*ck, I look at every league game as another way to lose a game now, there is nothing to be gained for this team in the league this season so I reckon the players are saving themselves for the FA Cup final. But beware any reading players - winning is a mentality and a habbit and right now the team neither has that mentality or habit.

Kenny Dalglish has no regrets at having accepted an SOS call from Liverpool and says he is happy to do the job for as long as his services are required.

An Anfield icon from his playing days and first spell as Reds boss, the Scot returned to the helm in the wake of Roy Hodgson's departure in January 2011.
He penned a three-year contract in May of that year and has led Liverpool

glory and a place in the FA Cup final during his first full season in charge.
He has, however, been unable to fire the Reds back into the Premier League title picture and has seen some of his transfer business questioned.
Dalglish acknowledges that it is difficult to keep everyone happy all of the time and claims he would understand if Liverpool's American owners decided to take the club in a different direction.
Honour

He is still enjoying his time in the Anfield hot-seat, though, and will continue to give his all to the post until told otherwise.

Dalglish said: "I was asked to come back here and it was an honour and a privilege to do so. There was no hesitation in my decision, and if I was asked again tomorrow, I would do exactly the same thing.
"For me, the aim was to move the club forward and that is what we're all trying to do to the best of our ability.

Kenny Dalglish Quotes of the week
"But if the progress stops, then something else needs to be looked at.
"Where the line is going to be drawn, I don't know. I am sure that everyone will have set different targets that they would see as being progress.

"But the most important people here are the people who own the football club, and the people who support the football club.
"I think they will be better judges than anyone else."
Dalglish added: "I don't know whether winning the Carling Cup and reaching the FA Cup final means we have been successful.
"People have to judge for themselves and if they still want to batter me that's also up to them.
"It doesn't matter what happens to Kenny Dalglish.

All that matters is Liverpool Football Club.

As long as this club doesn't suffer, then that's okay with me. I'll just come into work every day, work as hard as I can and live up to my responsibilities, and we will see what happens from there

At the very least i get the impression from those quotes that comolli's sacking has perhaps shown dalglish how ruthless the owner's can be and that he might not be as safe in his job as he thought . I think he was quite surprised by comolli's sacking , he seemed to think comolli was doing a decent job in the role he had.

It is starting to feel like he might not be in charge next season , guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

Bring Rafa back ! Or Mourinho he'll come deffo and if he doesn't Klopp will be creaming himself over leaving a Champions League club to manage us. Especially as he'll have a full season to put things right. Wait, nooooooo, what am I thinking of? Let's get into some necromancing shit and resurrect Paisley from the dead.

I think we should have a poll between bringing Rafa back or trying to spring Breivik from jail to take the job. Rafa did get to 2 CL finals and ran Manure very close to the title in 08/09 - yet he was prone to being stubborn and arrogant at times. Breivik has a steely determination and we could have been helped by his no nonsense attitude towards race issues this season, but then he might very well fly a fully fuel laden 737 into the main stand if things weren't going well.

I'll only vote for him if he has the ability to bomb forums
