I still love the final, its not as special as it was granted but I always watch it.

I remember as a kid the whole build up on TV was massive. Anyone remember Saint & Greavsie's bar where they had special guests all day in the build up.

I think it used to be on both ITV and BBC at same time, ITV was my favourite for the build up though less serious. The whole family would sit and watch it regardless of who was in it.

Also where are the songs these days? It used to be fantastic to see the footballers squirm with their big headphones on singing their song. Who could ever forget our Anfield Rap.

Its such a shame that something so big in the pre-premier league days, has now been watered down.

On the match, do we all want Stoke to win?
 
Anybody know what channel I can watch this on in America?

(I've no idea if the house has a fancy cable subscription though)
 
Apparently the reason its on the same week as these games is because UEFA have insisted that no games be played on the pitch for 2 weeks before the European Cup Final.
 
I've got a feeling that Stoke will give City a hard time, and I have put a bet on the match going to penalties.

What a truly crap game that was. The lack of ball control and passing skills on display was stunning. Still, Citeh deserved to win it.

Despite the vast amount of money spent on that team they still look a million miles away from playing the type of football we are displaying under KK. Mancini deserves to be put on his bike.

He deserves to win nothing after that. Showed his true colours and it should not be forgotten.
