He's fine. The mission was to get the ball out wide then cross it in for him but we havnt done that yet. Changing style of play takes time.

I don't think many said we don't need to buy a full back just that many of us thought(and still do) that centre back was/is a bigger priority.

No, but I've gone on record from day one of his signature saying I don't see how he fits into our system and style of play. He's a good player, I've just no idea why we bought him though.

I only watch Liverpool games in the EPL but I watch every lower league game that's televised and go to about 25 lower league games per season - I'm completely addicted to it.

That's true, but I'd add that we haven't seen enough yet anyway to discount the idea that Robinson and Flanagan can cover.

I think they most probably can cover. Second or third choice players are exactly that. They only play if the first or second choice players are out.

As has been suggested already also, there are better circumstances than having back up players all coming in together. Better to come in and fit into a settled unit. Its not often we would NEED to call upon our entire second choice defence is it?

Carroll is not unfit FFS. Every time he plays he looks like he hates it and is on the verge of tears. Henderson looks awkward as well. I think the pressure is getting to them both. They are on a bigger stage now, and everywhere people are shaking their heads at the fees we paid for them. If they are to succeed Kenny needs to get them to believe.
