Everton Match:

If our players can't get motivated for this game, they can fuck off and leave every one of them.

God knows, how we can line up. But;

Reina

Kelly Sktrel Agger Aurelio

Meireles Lucas

Johnson Cole Maxi

Torres

Can we please all agree that our Season starts on Sunday?

Let's all collectively forget what shambles we've witnessed so far this Season and look positively ahead of Sundays major game.

King Kenny's in charge, we're playing at Anfield, one of the most famous and intimidating grounds in football, and our players will be completely fired up. A win against the bluenoses and we're not only leaving the relegation battle behind us, we'd inject tons of good morale and self-belief into everyone in and around the club.

The Season starts on Sunday.

Let's get off to a flyer.

Can't do that mate. The season started 21 games ago and we've fucked up big time. We can only hope we can rescue it in the last 17 games

It should be "tricky feets", KHL.

We need those as well, yeah.

I'd go for something like this:

JOHNSON...........KELLY.........AGGER..............AURELIO

...........................POULSEN or LUCAS.........................

COLE............................RAUL..............................MAXI

.......................PACHECO..........TORRES......................

Give Torres a partner who's actually capable of playing football and who's got good, fast and tricky feet as well.

If Cole's out move Johnson upfield and place Skrtel or Kyrgiakos alongside Agger and move Kelly out on the right.

We need a team much better at retaining possession than the one last night did and Kuyt (on current form) and Jova (on current talent) needs to be dropped.

Poulsen? Fucking Poulsen!!!

*curls one off to practice*

That's right. We might as well play Stephen Hawkins in midfield than Poulsen at least he'd be mobile

We might as well just put some chewing gum in front of the back four. It's more likely to intercept passes than Poulson.

He still made five interceptions compared to Lucas' one.

I don't think Poulsen is good enough for Liverpool, nor is Lucas, Jova, Skrtel or Raul (on current form at least) mind.

He did however obviously not have such a bad game last night as some was told and others thought when watching the game, that's all.

He was fucking shit. I saw Charlie Adam jog past him at least three times. He disappeared for prolonged periods completely when they were attacking.

And it's Lucas's not Lucas'.

We need some bollocks in the squad.

Everton's strikeforce is shit, and so we need to focus on their midfield.

Reina
Johnson Kelly Agger Aurelio
Lucas
Maxi Meireles Shelvey Babel
Torres N'Gog

Kuyt has to be dropped, Johnson needs to be on his favoured side if he is indeed to be handed a starting berth, Poulsen needs to fuck off, as does Skrtel.

Hahahaha

Pathetic.

Reina
Kelly Skrtel Agger Aurelio
Lucas Meireles
Johnson Cole
Maxi
Torres

Johnson giving width on the right, Cole cutting inside on the left to support Maxi and Torres. Meireles and Aurelio getting forward whenever possible on the left.

Why on earth didn't he play something similar last night?

Last time he gave Poulsen his fair chance and he failed completly to make any impact on the game. Shelvey should be ahead of him in the qeue. Kuyt needs a rest... or something else. He just cant take on a man at all.. pathetic. Jova is probably an ok player in some teams but he is struggling here. Lucas is back to his old self after an ok period when er won some gone games.

Fuck we struggle without gerrard.

I thought he had a good first half, played some good passes too, he did disappear in the second half though and his inability to chase back is a big negative for a DM. He's not good enough but I think people did jump on him a bit for the sake of it the other night (like we see every week with the likes of Lucas), he wasn't the worst out there, but again, he's not good enough either.

Either Maxi or Babel could get in there I suppose, we're shite aren't we?

This one is best coz there's 12 in it.

Kuyt in for Babel if Everton don't play Hibbert these days.

I like both of these, although Oncy I'd stick Johnson in where Cole is and play Cole where Peacheco is.

And Squiggs, shuffle those players round for a 4231. Playing Kuyt and Maxi wide of a 442 is painful, and not what they're good at or natural positions for either of them.

I like the idea of Agger at DM, I have talked about it before, although maybe not on here. He can win the ball back, used to a central defensive position and can pass it about a bit. You see the liked of Marquez drift between CDM and CD, it's more of a natural transition to make. And I'm sure he'd do a hell of a lot better than Poulsen *spits*. I don't want to see him or Jovanavic in a Liverpool shirt ever again. Or Konschesky for that matter.

I'm shitting myself about Sunday.

I'm struggling to see us getting more than 1 point.

Looking at our possible teams is so bad it hurts.

The 2008/09 season:

Pepe

Arbeloa Carra Agger Aurelio

Mascher
Xabi

Kuyt Gerrard Benayoun/Riera

Torres

And now I'm looking at a side lining up to face Everton that could easily look like this:

Pepe

Johnson Kelly Agger Aurelio

Meireles Poulsen Lucas Maxi

Torres Kuyt

Depressed much?

I've really got the fear about this game.

No Stevie.

No Jamie.

The Dirkilizer waaaay off form !

*deeply deeply fed up*

The problem is Shelvey's not really DM so he won't be considered as a replacement for Poulsen or Lucas (except as a sub when we need to attack), the only alternative to the cunt twins is that midget Spearing who's also not very good

Suso and Pacheco should be on the bench, and Shelvey should be there or thereabouts the first team, Jova and the rest can do one.

Shelvey really needs to start with Meireles.

At worst, I can tolerate Lucas with Meireles. But if the cunt twins start together EVER again, I'm going to cry.

My big worry with Shelvey is that he looks a bit too sluggish to play in a central two, wouldn't mind seeing him ahead of Meireles and another though.

Our problem is that we really only have two midfielders of a decent ability competing for 3 spots. Which leaves Poulsen and Lucas for the other spot. Which isn't so bad when Meireles and Gerrard are both available, but it's catastrophic when one's missing. We either need to invest now, or change to a formation that we only play with two CMs. Thus cutting out the risk of having to play with both Poulsen and Lucas.

One other option is to have Kuyt central between the midfield two and Torres, he works as hard as any of our central midfielder's and 'can' be a threat, he's not showing much outwide these days so it's worth a go. Then you could play two from Meireles, Shelvey and Lucas, while Kuyt might give us that added solidity and ability to chase back.
