I would like Henderson in the middle, he has played well when asked to do the defensive midfield duties and I can see moyes making sure tackles are flying in this one.

I tend to agree with that (although I cannot believe that I agree with it considering it involves having Henderson in the team) - but having Henderson in a defensive role is a safer option than having Sahin there - who has impressed a bit but has shown to be lightweight when it comes to that defensive part of his game. The problem is - we would lack a certain creative spirit in midfield without him and SG may not last the pace of this game.

He's excellent defensively considering he's a creative midfielder.

Oh, and Lawro can fuck off

Lawro was sent to Goodison yesterday by Footie Focus to 'interview' Moyes. It was supposed to be 'red vs blue' but as it was Lawro it sounded like 'blue+blue'. He invited Moyes to sneer about Benitez and say how 'disrespectful' the 'small club' jibe was. Lawro eagerly nodded in agreement. No mention of the 'People's Club' crap. Woeful bloke.

Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Allen, Sahin, Sterling, Suarez, Suso.

Reina failed the fitness test so.
I guess we might just find out today how far Brad has come.
Not far enough is my fear.

Ian Herbert earlier this morning seemed to suggest Reina had simply been dropped. He also said Reina's been mightily pissed off with Achterberg and desperately wants Valero back.

I'm starting to think it would be in everyones interest that Reina moves on after the season. Atl Madrid will be looking for a keeper.

I've got no idea about who could replace him though.

Strong team. My worry is our right side who will have to deal with Baines. Suso isnt great defensively.

I wonder what Lawrensons real beef with us is ? The one that turned him into a miserable bitter beardy cunt
