Well today my England team played - and we looked good. If he selects Mount instead of Grealish in the next, and opts for Foden instead of Saka - then there is a screw loose in that manager of ours.

Feel bad for Robbo.
Feel glad for us as the extra two weeks holidays will do him no harm and I expect him to be hungry and driven next season.

He's averaged 57 games per season these last few years. Nobody would think that though seeing him run around in the Euros.

I'm pretty relieved Scotland are out.

I keep expecting him to drop to his knees one day, with smoke coming out his butt. Then the paramedics come on and try to replace the batteries but the engine is just way overheated.

Bottle of Irn Bru, flat sausage & tatty scone butty & deep fried mars bar will sort him out.

With this performances vs. France, think it's about time people stop bringing up his "passing to advertising board" when discussing about Renato Sanches 😀

I’m really up for another England v Germany game, some papers over here will have a full week to go mental...

Southgate's stunning and brave win over the Czechs has backfired. What a shocking turn of events. So hard to predict these things.

I hope the headlines next week aren't going to be about him getting a mullering. That would be an unforeseen dagger to all our hearts. Oh the pain.

Err no actually. Out of Portugal, France and Germany I'd definitely pick Germany as they've been the most shite. And the 4 best teams are now in the other half of the draw !

Hungary were brave and well-coached - they can go out with their heads held high. Germany - wow, what a shambles! The 3 at the back crumbled every time when called upon to do any actual defending - already 5 goals conceded in 3 games. They are making Neuer look bad. The midfield double-pivot of Kroos and Gundogan efficient, but sterile. Up front Mueller’s absence produced an absolute mess with 2 wingers toiling as center-forwards and no clear idea of how to attack. Leroy Sane produced one of the most cowardly performances I’ve seen in a long time - I think German press will rip into him. Gosens coming off a career-defining game vs Portugal was completely anonymous on the left.

The one bright spot I thought was the sub Musiala - every time he had the ball at his feet, defenders panicked and that’s how Goretzka’s goal was created. Germany barely escaped with their life, but I have to say England should now be favorites against this shadow of a team.

German press dishing out 5s and 6s to the team. Only Havertz and Kimmich emerged with any credit.
