Oi fuck you, dickhead!

I played for SVI in the nineties.
Haha, SVI was to ambitious for me.
I wanted to enjoy my time in Innsbruck and SK Wilten just played Bezirksliga. But as also two of my colleagues played for SVI I can insure that Wilten was back then more the "family team" where we played for a beer and a sausage after the game while at SVI (at least for the first team) a lot of people played because they got money. 😉

I have fond memories of playing at the famous Besele-Park in our preseason games in winter. Saturday 10am kickoff and then straight into the 'Besele-Kantine' after the game for some refreshments. Our club president once had to bail us out at Saturday night as nobody had any cash with them because we were getting lashed with our kit and tracksuits still on from the match in the morning. We were playing in the third or fourth league at that time so that didn't go down too well.

OK, dear @Holle and @LenPa, since you've subjected us all to reading all these personal reminiscences, you have to both say something insightful about football. How do you like Germany's 3-4-3? Did Löw get caught smelling his fingers lately? Why is Werner so shit?

Sorry for that.

I think they did quite well (better than expected). Wasn't expecting Gosens to play so good, especially I did not see him so strong in the first game.
But to get back to the 3-4-3 I guess against teams which focus more on the offensive (like Portugal) or against weaker teams it will work quite well as Germany is able to get to the baseline/into the box and can create great opportunities. I still am unsure how it will work out against stronger teams like France. In my view, they had a lot of possibilities where they could get to the baseline/into the box but they seemed a bit afraid (or maybe it was just not possible). I think Germany is some kind of a dark horse.

I think Jogi is smelling all over the place, do not have to smell at his fingers again. And I like Werner (even if he shoots less goals than Gomez for Germany).

Best place to be and great story - that is why I love the Besele and SK Wilten. I think the same people are still sitting in fron of the "Besele-Kantine" and Ander is still the host. At least, two times the week we were sitting there till 3am after training or game days.

It got interesting when Holle called newman a dickhead.. I thought it was gonna kick off and then they just laughed.

Get onboard, tell @rurikbird to fuck off and continue talking about small town German football antics!

Pretty clear by now Southgate has favourites regardless of merit. I can understand if Hendo isn't 100%, but how Sancho/DCL doesn't get a look in is just baffling.

Scotland getting beat now.

Would rather see them get into the next round despite not really offering too much.

Austrian commentary on whether the size of players does matter:

'There's only two things that matter: good, bad or mediocre.'

Fantastic!
