EURO 2020

Oh yeah silly me. I forgot the virus only attacks a certain age group.

That probably also explains why it’s not compulsory for teams to get themselves vaccinated.

UEFA’s probably run by anti-vaxxers too.

Nice link up between Depay and Malen

I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen from Malen so far. He is surprisingly unselfish for someone who is supposed to be a poacher type, nice speed too.

Meanwhile Ukraine meekly went out to Austria. Outplayed in midfield and too many players performed below their best.

Malen looks great, as you say he is very unselfish and an assist machine but he's also fast as fuck and has a good goal record. Likes a flick or two so will be good company for Bobby!

Really hope there's something in the links from what I've seen

Didnt watch any games today but seen Dutch Gini surfaced again today, I think he broke Marco Van Basten's international goal record with his brace today.Testament to the player he is that he is someone who can be so versetile.

When the games this evening started - I saw my wife wanting to see the Belgium game. I said to her - you may find the Denmark game a little more entertaining as they play some beautiful stuff at times. Fuck me I was not wrong - and only two weeks ago arguing with a niece of mine about why we love football and I told her - because sometimes you see stuff that can only be explained by the existence of God because when you think everything is under control and there is no hope suddenly shit just happens and you see how things can suddenly change. I was so so happy Denmark have gone through - the way they play - if England could just play 1/10th of that style maybe I could have some sort of satisfaction watching the utter shit garbage football that this nation has had to endure in each tournament. In my view had the issue in the first game not shocked them, then maybe they would have won the group, they are so so good to watch.

Yeah, a real pity he hardly ever played for us. Instead he sent his shite twin.

Innsbruck?

That means you maybe improved your English there but you definitely completely fucked up your German.

Valid Argument. But as I know live in Bavaria it is quite fine.
And to be honest, Innsbruck is okay. But I played football in Innsbruck and if you have a game in small villages, e.g. in the Ötztal, then you hear really crazy German (if you still want to name it like this).

Holle lives near Innsbruck 😉

It was up to the rules of each country.

England you can't or at least shouldn't be able to jump the queue based on profession other than doctors and nurses.

Under 30s only very recently became eligible for 1st vaccine. Over 18s last week.

Don't blame the player. Blame the government. However it was 100% the right call.

Who's blaming the player ?

i just don't understand why UEFA won't do the most sensible thing and that is to get all teams vaccinated prior to participation in a massive sporting event of such scale. It's the same thing with the upcoming Olympics and the recent Copa America.

You would think these events run the huge risk of being super spreaders of the rona. But what do i know eh...i'm not a WHO expert. So unless i'm missing something out, i really struggle to understand tbh.

He can't get a game for his club, but after several superb performances at Euro 2020 is Danny Ward of Wales and Leicester the Cream of the Keepers?

[article]It is approaching 1,500 days since the 27-year-old last started a club league game — for Huddersfield against Reading in the 2017 Championship play-off final.

It was the last game of a very strong season he'd had on loan from Liverpool but did not bring a breakthrough. He left Anfield a year later for Leicester, where Kasper Schmeichel has been a roadblock to his progress since.[/article]

I understand the ground one. It's a massively political statement against a Hungarian regime that's dehumanising a group of people.

I understand it, but by fuck I hate their decision.

Vaccinating 22 players while you have large crowds of spectators may be like plugging holes int he dam. Maybe UEFA & the IOC should also vaccinate all the fans

Where and when did you play in Innsbruck?

I don't. That's exactly when you need to get woke, if you even gave a shit about it in the first place.

Isn’t the decision on which age group to vaccinate based on how much testing has been done to within that age group and who is the most vulnerable?
