Could be. It's been looming for a while. If he had less determination and professionalism he could well have gone by now.
It has been commented on a lot in this series that the Aussies have lost that aura, that supra-confident and intimidatory air they once exuded, and that left the English half beaten before an over had been bowled. Punter's aggression seems to be turning inwards now- he's angry at himself and his team because he knows they just aren't good enough. That 20-20 victory was a case in point. England put their boot onto the Australian team's throat knowing they could bully the Aussies, and they've done the same again in this series.
Agreed, and in a bleak summer it's been good to see.

Kieswetter is trying too hard to be KP at times.
I like the look of the one day squad though, just hope we can transfer this form down under this winter.
