I must admit I'm completely baffled with Capellos decision to play him out wide - AGAIN!
Any sane England manager would play him in the whole or at a bare minimum in central. Heck I'd even ask him to pick a few teammates around him as well, make him run the show so to speak.
Your managers have never achieved to bring out the best of Gerrard not even back when he was the best footballer in the world and it seems that much praised Capello fails as well.
