Good for the fans who won't have to travel as far. Bad for the fans as they'll have to deal with Mancs.

I love playing well .. exempt when we unjustly lose, or in fact when we lose at any time. Just imagine how sweet it will be beating them this time. Many on RedCafe are already crowing about how they have ben given a bye into the quarters.
Matches on 10th March (Anfield) and on the 17th (OT). We will have a week's rest before the turn at OT. United have to play West Ham in the FAC on the 14th and face City on the Sunday after the 2nd leg.
Martial (and Rooney) will almost certainly still be out for both so their lack of strikers may be critical and even a deciding factor (assuming Sturridge stays fit) with their current injury crisis (13 out I think it is).

Imagine if we had to beat West Ham and then Blackburn in the cup.
I think I'd have preferred to play a team from a shit league like Belgium or Switzerland, as opposed to a team who are better than us, and have beaten us in the four games we have played against them.

True, but in the same time Dortmund, Tottenham, Sevilla, Villarreal, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Valencia are all much better teams. probably Athletic, Lazio and Fenerbahçe as well.
So there were 10 harder draws for us out of 15.
Again, putting aside the rivalry. I'm talking ability.
Playing teams form your own league in Europe is shite. Europe should be about playing teams and players you hardly ever face in places you never get to go to.
Also maybe an advantage for us playing at home in the first leg. I expect this to be tight and if it goes to ET then away goals still count double .. so we would effectively be getting 120 mins vs their 90 mins to score an away goal, if that turns out to be the case.
