El Last 16 Draw

I was hoping for an easier tie but given how little interest the competition the has offered so far, it's pleasing to get an exciting tie that will create some emotions either way

Maybe it's just me but supporting the club feels very flat at the moment even with Klopp here so this will hopefully spark the fans and us into life.

Yep, definitely, I'm not even that excited about the final Sunday.

The draw will at least save us one potentially long and draining away trip to the @rse end of beyond in Europe somewhere.

Wish we'd been drawn away first though.

Manchester United have reportedly contacted UEFA asking to change the time of the second leg of their Europa League clash with LFC to 8pm. #LFC

After seeing them outclass Arsenal, I'm not looking forward to it as much as I was. I hope they haven't turned a corner with all these kids.

Did they outclass arsenal or did arsenal bottle it again?

I feel like ignoring the whole thing. I could see us winning at home, but the fear that we'll probably collapse at OT will drain away any pleasure that comes with such a home win. And if we lose at home, gawd almighty. I've just had enough of this season.

Yep, I'm bricking it. Imagine this new flavour of the month Rashhead scoring against us? *Vomit*.

So I take it that it will be a standard European away?

Get there the night before, drink loads, have plenty of friendly banter and exchange souvenirs?

I was wondering about that when I typed it. (What's the correct term?)

I meant once every two weeks. There's no way we'd bottle it twice a week. We have to give ourselves some false hope.
Bi-weekly can actually mean twice a week or once every two weeks ! Ridiculous that the English language hasn't come up with anything more accurate than 'twice a week' or 'once every two weeks' !

It isn't that outdated, surely, not in my experience anyway.

If I remember rightly from long-ago English lessons at school, the term means "fourteen nights" and is used to emphasise the fact that one's referring to fourteen complete 24-hour periods.
