It's when we get close to their area, that's when they get so incredibly stupid I could weep. Just hold on to the ball, move it around and wait for the movement to create the space. Instead we seem to think the so-called killer ball will appear out of nowhere. Again and again, silly flicks for no one in particular...who coaches that??

Yes, really atrocious decision-making. We have more potential threat with Sturridge/Origi, Coutinho and Firmino up front, but still look very much like a team who don't know how to score. Too many passes, too many ideas, but very few actually good ideas or passes. I have to say this is disheartening to see from what should be our strongest team on paper.

A summary, to save 16 minutes of your life:

– Klopp pleased with the win, except we "lost control in last 20 minutes." Compared this game to Man City's game against Dynamo yesterday when they also lost control somewhat after bring 2:0 up, but then "Yaya scored a genius goal" and "we forgot to do that."
– Pleased for Coutinho and Sturridge gradually building up fitness
– Lucas started at CB for his passing ability and also because Kolo played a lot of games recently. "Very pleased for him."
– Augsburg "should feel proud" of their performance
– Klopp congratulated [Augsburg manager] Markus Weinzirl "for being a bit annoying," but in the end it's "no problem" and "we like and respect each other."
