Count - If they sell Cesc, they'd rival us for him (if we are after him) as Nasri would take a more central role. If Nasri & Cesc stay, there's no way they'd be able to offer him 1st team football.

Where do you guys get your confidence from?
Do you guys really think we're gonna sign any big name players this summer?
My biggest fear is that we won't attract any top names this summer because we're not playing in the Champions League. Are we even in the position to promise CL football to players potentially joining?
I just keep reading comments about players wanting to join a big club and compete at the highest level. It's not really convincing me that top players want to come to Liverpool.
But hey money talks.

Rumour is that Arsenal have first refusal on him. He has been favourable towards the Gunners in the past, but his latest interview opens up for other clubs imho. I like the fact that he says its not about the money but where he could develop as a player. If Kenny gets to speak to him he's ours.

No he knows we are a great club, a massive one and one where he could get regular football and compete for top honours.
Aguero, Hazard etc are similar players who are gettable, should we be willing to pay for them.

Affellay made an insane decision to join Barca and they'll make tons of cash when they sell him.
