I've ... eh.... experienced the place.

There's not a whole lot of availability though and I'd rather stay in the middle of town than some decent place 8 miles away.

Fair point mate and at the end of the day, it's only somewhere to get your head down.

Good point. That'll numb the pain of the flea bites.

I stayed at this hotel just before Christmas and think it is by far the best Hotel in Liverpool.

http://www.premierapartmentsliverpool.com/index.php

There are 62 apartments over 7 floors all accessible by a lift. Each apartment has a fully furnished bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, dining area with fully equipped fitted kitchen. Facilities include LCD flatscreen TV with freeview channels, wifi broadband access, cd players and secure car parking making Premier Apartments Liverpool a truly indulgent home away from home.

Kitchen:

All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils (extras available on request)
Cooker & oven
Fridge freezer
Washing machine with built in dryer
Microwave
Toaster
Kettle
Welcome tray with tea/coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits

Living Room/Dining Room:

LCD Television with freeview channels
CD Stereo
DVD (on request)
Telephone line

Bedroom(s):
Fluffy white duvets on each bed
Alarm clock radio
Bathroom(s):
All bathrooms have a shower - baths are available in some locations

Check the pics to see how nice it is and it aint expensive. A single Bedroom cost me £80 in November and the 2 bedroom one was only £120 but the prices do vary on what date you book and sometimes they require you to book for more than one night.

I've got a double bedroom one booked for May and it has only cost me £124!!!

What's The Focus like?

It's meant to be quite nice from what I've been told.

How far out is the travelodge in the wirral? depending or what a taxi costs its might be easier to split a room in the centre or camel trek it out to the Tlodge.

last time we stayed in a travelodge in Hyton near a golf club. Is that close enough to taxi?
[/quote]

Yeah easily. Its about 5 miles from the city centre odd.

RISLC will know best.

You're probably looking at a 15 - 20 min drive to the centre, fare around 15 quid mate.

As the wirral one and this are both about 6.5 miles out, both look cab-able. Oncey, looks like a trip to the Wirral as the Hyton one is booked up as well. Oncey, Single and Rouge: Road to nowhere.

What the fuck is going on in Liverpool that weekend???

I'm sure there's a night bus to The Wirral. That would be an experience you could tell your grandkids about Rougey.

I would offer to put up a couple of you internet geeks, but I will probably be crashing on a couch with Spion and Ross.

*ponders how big this couch is.....*

*hopes prays he is not in the middle*

The Village Hotel which is 2-3 minutes away from that travelodge has got plenty of rooms available. £85 a night and it is 15-20 minutes from the City Centre in a taxi.

I hope my Uncle doesn't catch wind of the demand for rooms that weekend and charge me board!!

What about "New Revs" and "Gatecrasher", "Oceana" is always banging on a thursday.

I prefer old Revo in Nott. What night is OCeana on a Thursday? I think we usually go Mondays.

Oceana on thurs is Foreplay, great night. New revs is full of younger students and I enjoy the music. I love News Revs im always there on a night out.

So what does that mean? is it just a usual Oceana night but for locals? New Rev is nice and the dancefloor does help, lots more girls, but as a bar old revo is much nicer. You ever go cucumara?

Maybe we should start a nottingham thread for the two of us.
