During the World Cup in 2006, 15 of us went out to Wavertree High Street to watch an England game about 1 pm.
We were soon smashed and headed towards the Fiveways about 6 pm.
We started singing football songs in there and were asked politely by the manager to quieten down.

The 12 'NorthEnders' we were drinking with then burst into a rendition of 'Wally is a wanker' , Wally being the manager.

We were all asked to leave, and told never to return.
