Finally someone stood up to that rat Barton. I really hoped that Diaby would punch the fuck out that rat faced cunt.
He deserves a fucking red card for that horrendous challenge he did on Diaby.

Barton has been going around bullying people in the league for too long. Remember how he sucker punched Pedersen?
I wish he would try that against Diaby.

Kevin Nolan caught the keeper in the headlock trying to get the ball back after a Barton penalty. haha.

Pedersen came out and gave credit to Barton for his reactions after the punch.. Just liked to mention it.

Speaking of punches. Will the FA be tough enough to send smalling to the stands for three games?

Yeah brilliant. Ultimately cost his side 2 points and the chance to move within 2 points of scum utd.

I'm gutted.

plus his brothers a cunt.

Thats his Half Brother.

I thought Joey Barton was Man of the Match. I hope our players have the same commitment tomorrow that he had today.

And we wouldn't be in 7th now if we had Barton in the squad instead of Poulsen and Lucas.

There wasn't much wrong with Barton's challenge. Yeah he went in hard but his feet weren't raised and he got the ball.

Arsenal just don't like being tackled and it really unsettled them

Exactly. It's based on his reputation. Unless I've watched the wrong tackle (Barton on Arshavin?) there's fuck all problem.

Arsenal are a bunch of bottlers. It takes more than pretty football (as the last 6 years have proved). Fuck them.

Exactly X 2.

He did what you need to do and although I thought it was robust and at the limit of legality (or a bit over it), it turned the game because Arsenal are a bunch of chickens.

It was amazing to watch. All their 'great players' totally disappear when it went to 4-1.

I'm sure Barton is also delighted that Diaby stood up to him helped Newcastle get back to 4-4.

I used to hate Barton but I don't mind him now. 1 of the few personalities in footballer, even if it's a personality I don't really like and least he honest with himself.

Diaby is a little girl. Nothing wrong with that challenge, happy that they pulled it back to 4-4. Bunch of pricks with an entitlement complex, arsenal

Anyway, fuck Arsenal. Cowards.

Unfortunately so, yes 🙁

I'd rather City won it (just the once mind) as it might finish Fergie off.

What a fucking load of bollocks this is..... Barton threw in a great strong challenge not to dis-simlar to what our own captain does on many occasions. Unfotunatly for Barton no matter how well he plays or what he does on the pitch, iw will always be overshadowed by his past. I actually think Barton has been excellent this season.

Just seen this. What utter bollocks. The ball was won, and it was a proper, robust tackle. If Gerrard had made that tackle we'd be lauding him it.

Oh and from viewings of it, Diaby bottled it as well. So actually he IS man of the week if you're Geordie or a Spurs fan, cos his stupid reaction started the implosion.

Barton deserved a card for that tackle and is a scumbag. Newcastle were lucky to win off a nothing penalty, but they should never have been in that position. Diaby handled it so poorly.

Why did he? He won the ball, Diaby was non committal which resulted in him getting clobbered. It seems like Barton's reputation is preceding him, rightly or wrongly.

Whether he is a scumbag or not has nothing to do with this argument in my opinion. In fact, I'm surprised no one has claimed it was a racist tackle...

We are long past the days where if you got the ball it wasn't a foul.

He left the ground and clumsily and intentionally left his trailing leg in, which left all of his weight coming down on Diaby's leg. It could easily have broken Diaby's leg, which is why he was so angry.

Did anyone else think that tackle was a bit racist ?
[/quote]

well everyone he attacks seems to be black or Alonso.

I thought there's very little wrong in that tackle. At the very worse a dubious yellow card,

What planet are some of you on?

How on earth was that a Yellow let alone a red? It was a decent tackle, a proper tackle. Does my nut in when players get punished for proper footballing tackles like that.

Barton on and off the pitch has improved massively. Yeah, he's still a bit of a shit as the Pedersen incident proved earlier on in the season but he's getting better and is playing half decent football at Newcastle.

RE Tackles, we really need a video ref or something who can judge tackles that would automatically get a red card on a case by case basis else we'll end up with players never going to ground!

Noone wants pitch of Scholes' but at the same time, a fair decent tackle shouldn't be punished.
