Why do people bother with twitter

I am sure it started as a real time facebook for friends but it has turned into an ego trip for celebrities to who is listening to them and a place to abuse celebs you hate

The whole twitter madness is pathetic.

I agree. I'm sure there's some Liverpool fans out there issuing death-threats to someone equally respectable.'

'Celebs' who sign up to Twitter know what they're getting into. It's shit, but it's not going to change any time soon. I struggle to have sympathy.

This is exactly what will happen when one thinks he's too big to not shake another's hand, innocent or not.

Suarez was a massive fool for not shaking Evra's hands. I don't care if he likes Evra or not, neither do i give a shit if Evra lied or not. But you're a role model to thousands, possibly millions of people, especially children and youth who look up to you, and you've just let them down. You've just shown that it's uncool to be a peacemaker but cool to be a walking penis. Can you imagine how many kids will be doing what Suarez did on the playgrounds ? Obviously, Suarez's actions will hurt our club's image. But my bigger concern are the seeds his actions have planted in the hearts of many, and the hatred and anger that have been incited as a result.

This is how wars and fights are started. Cos one party dislikes the other and wants to do all they can to kill them.

The fact that some of us condone and continue to support Suarez's actions - speak of the insanity and fall from grace that has befallen this club. No class whatsoever - that's what football fans all over the world are basically saying about us.

Thats bollocks. Suarez did offer his hand, Evra didn't. Then when Suarez walked past Evra causes the scene. Will some mentally ill LFC fan just find this cunt and lamp him? Thanks.

Our club and its fans have been shit on, had lies thrust upon them, fingers pointed justly and unjustly for fucking years. Let's not kid ourselves that this is a new phenomenon. Suarez' actions will do fuck all to our image. We killed a load of Italians and still our international fanbase grew.

Thank you Liam.

Regardless of the format or platform, our club is our club, & there are people who mean to damage us on everyone of those platforms, twitter included.

We stand for our principles & we look after our own, on twitter, Facebook or the Internet in general.

The media it's on or in & the lies that are spread are the same, we should aim to better them & correct lies & mistrusts at every turn.

Totally,100%,agree with you.

Players should be banned from using Twitter. Eventually it's going to get out of hand. I can't believe that useless bellend Frimpong even felt that HE had an opinion worth posting about us and about Suarez. It's ridiculous
