He's been linked with big clubs for big money, I find it hard to imagine they'd let him go as part of an exchange deal, even if they are cash strapped.

Although, if they're wanting to cash in to buy a striker it would make sense. *clutches at straws*

Utd are fucking insane.

The entire world, & their mums, know that Utd need a deep lying playmaker, at least one world class CB & a very strong CM.

So he buys Falcao.

One hour to go in the office and I am doing fuck all but checking the latest transfer news.

Will be posting the latest here.

Cheeky bid for Isco would be great.

So RM have the money for Falcao and keep him out of England

Borini and they get to keep Kovavic on loan. That'd be excellent.

Yup ... I'd be ecstatic with this ...

I'd give up Borini in a player swap with Kovacic, who they keep on loan for the year ... Win win for both clubs (well more so for us)

Everton wants Shawcross.

Alvaro Negredo and Valencia have a player/club agreement, but Man City are yet to sanction the deal.

Tottenham demaning £5m from Crystal Palace for former Scum wonderkind full-back Zeki Fryers

I want us to bid for Falcao just to mess up any potential bid by Arsenal and Man Utd.

(Also for when Mario implodes)

Hahaha. Utd are insane. If they don't have at least a quality CB & cm lined up then they've spunked a whole load of cash in all the wrong areas.

Falcao is/was possibly the best "pure" #9 in the world. The problem is, even a great #9 can be relatively ineffective without a good supply line from the midfield and wings. Van Persie is more or less as good as Falcao and what did he do in the first 3 games this season? Not much. And Falcao, as good as he is, is not Messi or Suarez, he will not create goals out of nothing. If United keep losing the midfield battle, their strikers will not see enough of the ball to be fully effective.

So I'm still not worried about United. It would have been much worse for us had Falcao joined Arsenal. Van Gaal is a great manager, but United's squad is too lopsided and of very uneven quality, he won't be able to make it work, this season at least.
