Despite hardly playing this season, he's managed to total up 5 goals and an assist in 15 games, he's clearly shocking despite being more prolific than anyone in our squad.
 
They're hardly great stats, considering how free-scoring City are. He'd probably improve us, but not really enough. We'd be going up a step, when we need to go up about four.

Touche of course but I should have phrased that better ... I'm sure he said he would not leave London again. I may be wrong but don't think so. Anyone else remember this ?

However on the subject above, it should also be noted that when supporters say, "why the hell weren't we in for him" or "how did we lose out on him to Team X" that often there are circumstances beyond our control that may dictate that Player Y was never a viable proposition for us, no matter how badly we wanted him. Obvious stuff of course but there are times when there are valid excuses for why we can't or didn't sign someone.
