Nothing to do with transfers but just made me lol

“@Eatit89: @NathanEccleston your never goin to play for lfc first team ever again. You are shit”

Someone went to the trouble of actually sending that to him, really why?!
prob because he's shit
Might well be, but doesn't mean he deserves to be verbally abused on his Twitter account.

He's not that bad actually. Pace to burn and a decent finisher. Don't think he'll ever be good enough for us, but don't see why he can't be a success elsewhere.

i'll elaborate

he's a young player who's not great who is reaching the age where if you're not a bench player you will never make it at a big club.

And he's on twitter

He may not deserve it but thats why it happened

Gibson got a lot fucking worse

Apparently Zamora's going to be on £90,000 a week at QPR. Fucking hell
Amazing that that would be in the public domain even before he has actually signed a contract and while he is still in negotiations with the club. Its almost as if someone was making this shit uuuuuuuuup.

The ever reliable Talksport are reporting it, but it would hardly be surprising - QPR aren't short of a few bob to afford transfer fees, wages etc.

They should turn deadline day into a game show make it more interesting...'Do you take this proven half decent premiership striker...or go for the Mystery Box!'

Am I the only one who thinks Defoe might be a good stopgap signing? Always rated him. Perfect no? Capable of being on fire for half a season? YES

QPR seal Cisse deal

By ESPNsoccernet staff

QPR have confirmed the signing of Lazio striker Djibril Cisse on a two-and-a-half year contract.

Cisse, 30, arrives at QPR for an undisclosed fee, although reports suggest the Premier League club have paid around £4 million for his services.

QPR have confirmed the former Liverpool and Sunderland player has been registered in time to make his QPR debut at Aston Villa tomorrow, subject to international clearance being received one hour before kick-off.

Nothing doing Kenny, no?

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has revealed he turned down an enquiry from Liverpool counterpart Kenny Dalglish about pushing their game back because of the transfer window.

The two sides will meet at Molineux in the Premier League on Tuesday night - which is also transfer deadline day.

McCarthy says Dalglish contacted him requesting to change the game to the following day due to Liverpool's potential business in the transfer market.

But the Wolves manager refused because he wanted more time to prepare for Saturday's trip to QPR.

He said: "I know Liverpool wanted to play the game on the Wednesday and asked me about it and I said 'no chance'.

"We are going down to QPR on Saturday so why would I play a day later? I want as much time to prepare for both games but I could understand Liverpool's request.

"Kenny just asked me because they might be doing something (in the transfer market) and I understood it - but he understand my reasons for not changing."
