You'll all be pleasantly surprised. He's in the great tradition of under-appreciated but quietly effective Liverpool grafters like Brian Hall, Craig Johnston and Ray Houghton, always buzzing in and around the area, creating space and making chances. Not every low key signing is a sign of low ambition. He's a good acquisition.

I just tried playing as Burnley on FIFA and Ings is shit at stepovers.

Awful signing.

Because Inggggggs, can only get bettttttttter!

What about this gem …………….

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite Ings
And then I don’t feeeeeeeel.. sooooooo bad

No need to bring us down on an otherwise bright, bright, sunshiny day.

Joke of a club.. Legendary number 9 shirt as worn by tossers...

The last player we had worthy of the Shirt was Torres.. and he eventually turned out to be a cunt...

I hate modern day footballers...

I get the apathy completely - Not for the reasons you might think though. After the debacle of last seasons transfer window(s) and me being me I ALWAYS get excited about new signings. I championed the Lambert and Ballo signings to the hilt for example. I'm just sick of the fact none of the signings we've made in the last 2 years have done anything. Call it a reverse jinxy transfer tactic.

John Aldridge has described Liverpool's swoop for Danny Ings as a 'no-brainer', given the young striker's immense potential.

The Reds announced on Monday that personal terms have been agreed with the 22-year-old, who will move to Anfield on July 1 subject to a successful medical.

Ings impressed during his maiden campaign in the Barclays Premier League with Burnley, scoring 11 goals despite Sean Dyche's side eventually suffering the disappointment of relegation.

And Aldridge, a man who knows a thing or two about finding the net for the Reds, believes securing the England U21 international's signature could prove to be a masterstroke.

"Danny Ings is, for me, a no-brainer," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"The young lad scored 11 goals for Burnley, a team struggling for points, struggling for goals - and he's on the verge of breaking through to the England side.

"He's [young] and is one who has great potential. He's a goalscorer, he knows where the net is, his movement's good and he's quick.

"He can finish, he's quite clinical in front of goal, so he's a player that will only get better."

Carra:
[article=http://www.kicca.com/Carra23/posts/55759e0fcc10ed6178490abc]Lfc confirmed the signing of Danny Ings today from Burnley, on the back of the Milner deal last week it's nice to see new faces signed so quickly after a disappointing season. There's no doubt though that you associate perspiration rather than inspiration with both but on the back of a 6-1 defeat at Stoke and a poor end of the season we need it!

I think Ings will take the role of Borini in the squad & will provide more than he has, that will probably come in the Europa league & Capital one cup to start with then it will be up to him to show if he deserves to start more.[/article]

we need hard workers like milner and dings, id rather have that than talented strikers that can't be arsed getting back onside throughout the entire game

He's an improvement on our current 3rd choice striker (any of Lambert, Borini or Balotelli) for little money with obvious improvement still to come.

Why the fuck are people moaning?
