I think the heading in question refers to the King's manner rather than to his actual words, but even so I don't really agree with it.
 
Everyone fears King Kenny and I like how he takes subliminal shots at Fergie. Cracking stuff.

Just because Fergie doesn't speak after games, I'm no going to spend twice as long talking to you. :laugh:

I banged the drum for appointing the King longer than most on here, but even I've been (very pleasantly) surprised by the sheer scale of the uplift it's given everybody and by the fact that we now have not only a footballing genius but also a PR one in charge. 8)

You see Jules i don't think Kenny is a media genius, i just think he is a natural leader who has earned respect from all in the game and he is comfortable in front of the cameras knowing that deep down in his bones he is King Kenny.

Just watching the interviews makes you smile, im so fucking happy we've got him back. Its just magic.

Kennys so good hes got me believing we are going to challenge for the league next year, when only 2 1/2 months ago I would of thought that insane!
 
With a decent mix of humour, charm and disdain, it's fair to say that Kenny treats the media perfectly.

The contrast between him and Hodgson is staggering.

Indeed. Like all of us (well, most anyway) he's been mellowed by time, and he's making brilliant use of what he's learned. I get Molbytwin's point actually, but someone once described "genius" as "thinking of the obvious before anybody else" and the relevance of that is that the King doesn't have to do or say anything new or startling to qualify. He just has to keep on following the creed which Shanks first introduced to the club, namely keep it simple, and do the simple things supremely well. Just to top it all off, the press are putty in his hands while he's doing it with such style. 8)

He had a good one today, where Vinny O'Connor from Sky asked something along the lines of are you surprised a man with Hodgson's experience has walked straight back into a new job, and he just said 'I think you've answered your own question there Vinny' which led to a very red-faced Sky reporter!

Kenny's got the media sussed perfectly.
