Suarez is in inspired form on the pitch, netting 19 Premier League goals already this season.

He's just signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool and Rodgers wants to use that as bait to attract more talent when the transfer window reopens.

Rodgers said: "Good players want to play with good players.

"When you've got a world-class player like Suarez, and we've got a number of other young players improving, our selling point is the team and the philosophy.

"Our success here will be based around the team and how we work. Certainly when you've got players of that esteem - Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez, that ilk - top players would like to play with those players."


Suarez's latest two goals came in a 3-1 win over Cardiff on Saturday.

Rodgers added: "Suarez is always at a very high level and, again, was magnificent. He leads from the front, works, presses and is very clever in how he presses the ball.

"When we've got the ball, his creativity and invention is first-class.

"Two great goals again, good finishes. And he was very unselfish to pass to Raheem. A wonderful talent and yet again he showed why he is a world-class player."

Or liverpool are doing what arsenal did. Telling them they had RVP for the next season and then when they bought the players they then sold RVP.
