Only two English based players, not one Englishmen.

Does anyone know much about the lesser names on the list (Samba, Manquillo, Coric)?

Have we been linked to any of these kids?

Looks like they didn't bother to cross the Channel - Januzaj only included because they heard about him on the news 😉

Pierre Emile Højbjerg and Chelsea's Andreas Christensen are missing. Both have potential to be world class players.

Loads of Belgians once again.

Hmm no English and no Liverpool players.

Massively disappointing. Remember those two legends of youth football who set the world on fire for the French set up who won everything at youth level?

What were there names again?

To be honest, I'd like to see how many of these actually make it as a top drawer player. I'd hazard a guess that not many. In fact I will stick my neck out and say that guy who plays for Utd will amount to fuck all. But as long as he flatters to deceive for a while I don't care.

I agree but in some cases you just can't deny how good they are. This Januzaj kid looks class imo and my older brother who's been a Man U supporter since the late 70s raves about him. He also said that Macheda was the next Ronaldo.

Frank Acheampong from Ghana is missing. 19 years old plays for Anderlecht.

Your last sentence is bang on the money.

Most of these "promising" youngsters never make it.

[article=http://www.marca.com/2013/10/25/en/football/real_madrid/1382696595.html]Although Real Madrid has Falcao in its sights, one of the 'Tiger's' compatriots can't stop scoring goals in Valdebebas. Colombian Juanjo Narváez, who plays up front in the Real Madrid B-team, is the top scorer in the reserves with 15 goals in 10 games. That averages out at goal and a half per match.

He joined Madrid last winter from Deportivo Pasto, with whom he made his debut in the Colombian League. Last season he didn't make the B-team, but this time round his goal-scoring prowess has shone through in Valdebebas, in a year in which has seen both Castilla and Real Madrid C struggling to put the ball into the back of the net. As a result, Narváez made his second division debut for the B-team last week.

His four goals against Juve in the UEFA Youth League made him the competition's joint highest goal-scorer, tied at the top of the table with City player Lopes on five goals. Despite his recent success, the boy knows the first team is still a long way off: "I have to take it step by step. I am making a good impression and I need to keep it up, working each day to help the team."

Juanjo, 18, is seen as one of Colombia's most promising young players. He is a good play-maker, strong in the air with a great finish - so comparisons with fellow countryman Falcao are inevitable. He even celebrates goals just like Radamel does, pointing up to heaven. But he has this to say of Falcao: "He is a class player with considerable experience. I am still a youngster with a long way to go."

Could be one to watch.
