I thought Flannagan was great again on Sunday, get's tight to players and is a great passer.

I thought he was good but didn't get forward enough (neither did enrique) but I blame the fact the defence was too deep so the ground he would have had to cover was way too big.

He tried to go forward and, whilst it didn't always work, he was one of the few players Liverpool players that tried to move off the ball. There was a moment in the second half where Enrique got the ball, ran forward and then had to turn because there was a player blocking him...not a single player around him had moved an inch.

It's been awful and in my opinion Carroll is easily the worst offender (although definitely not the only one).

Carroll and the entire midfield for me

Adam was the worst offender for me (and I don't care how many km he waddle on average, that's moving, not the intelligent movement I'm talking about)

Yeah, if you look at the end of last season, we had Suarez, Flanno, Shelvey (occasionally), Maxi and Meireles. All looking to move around off the ball and drag players with them, or to make runs from deep that weren't picked up.

Exactly

It seemed like players with something to play for (I.e breaking into the first team) use clever movement.

enrique is hopeless further forwards whether he has support or not.

I just put up a Liverpool flag on my 3 year old son's wall (we moved to a new place a month ago or so). He ran in with a big smile, "Look dad, a Liverpool!" Yah, this team over the last few years has gotten me so angry and disappointed, but then again, what relationship doesn't? So my club is going through a tough time - but I'm still connected to her like I always was. I still go into every game thinking we're going to win. I still love watching the game with my boy. It's not sunny right now, but it will get brighter. It's always darkest before dawn anyways ...

I thought Flanno was about the only bright spot against Newcastle.

The only bright spot was Jonjo's shiny bonce.
Haha yeah that too.. I thought it was quite obvious however how a midfield with Spearing and Jonjo was too light-weight at this stage.

His time will come, looks talented the young lad.
