Fell asleep halfway through the first half. Neymar's goal aside, I thought the first 20 to 25 minutes I watched was meh, despite a little goal mouth action on both ends. The grass didn't seem to have been cut for a while. Honda impressed, though he looked like he was trying to shoulder too much by himself.

Cant believe Salcido is still playing

He's reinvented himself a bit as a midfielder. He hasn't been half bad for the Mexican national team.

I do find it funny that supposedly Giovanni dos Santos is in De La Torre's dog house and not playing much because he roams all over the pitch and doesn't stay in his defined role but already here in this match he has been drifting all over the pitch and popping up everywhere.

What was the keeper doing for that free kick... very odd.

Italy looked quite composed. See if they can sustain it.

Uruguay v Spain then

Spain: Casillas, Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Piqué, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Pedro, Soldado.
Uruguay: Muslera, Pereira, Lugano, Godín, Cáceres, D. Pérez, Gargano, ‘Cebolla’ Rodriguez, G.Ramírez, Luis Suárez, Cavani.
