They looked pretty good today. Sanchez may be able to lead the line for them, will probably score 40 goals. They will for sure win the league at a canter.

Bunch of wankers. Will enjoy watching their pretty football fall apart around December. As per.

Has Silver Sean banned everyone from mentioning Arsenal vs Citah? Noticed on the beeb that Arsenal won 3 nil.

Did anyone watch it? How did our rivals play?

They looked pretty good from what I saw of the game. The usual nice interplay and smart running in midfield. Sanchez looked pretty good, would have loved him on Merseyside. That said theyre all a bunch of cunts.

City were missing half their team and Arsenal were missing a few aswell.
I doubt anyone but the Arsenal fans will read to much into this.

With the post WC fitness issues City have it might be a good time to play them so early.
Really hope we get of to a good start at home vs Soton as I think we then will surprise a few away to City.

Thought he was pretty meh to be honest. He will definetly be a good player for them though.
Ramsey looks like he'll have a good season and Wilshere is overrated.

I only watched the first 30 mins to be fair. Then caught the highlights after.

Whilst Sanchez looked only half fit, one thing that did strike me was how SMALL he was. I was quite shocked. I know City have big physical players, but damn he's lightweight.

We were all talking about him being the perfect replacement for Luis, but i'm not so sure after seeing him today. Luis is 1.81m and pretty damn robust and physical. Sanchez is shorter than David Silva (an inch shy of Raheem, but nowhere near as strong on the ball). Whilst I think he'll do well, I don't think he's going to set the league alight ala Luis/Ronaldo/Henry/RVP/RVN have done in years gone past.

Arsenal will be up there as usual this season. Debuchy, Chambers and Sanchez are all good signings.
Need a dm to really challenge for the title though imho.

They've got 2 weeks and a day to get ready, they maybe stronger by then. Hopefully not, an early big scalp would be perfect.

Why are we playing them on a Monday?

thought Sánchez looked average. He seemed To run out of ideas and panic each time a city player stood in front of him, some nice touches and he's nippy but didn't look fully fit/bothered

It's a shit trophy. It's preseason and it was against a b team Citeh. It's virtually the same team we mullered the shit out of last season. Yeh they'll be a threat but that's about it.
Bothered.

I'm not sure what kind of madness has swept through the Gooners. They used to be phlegmatic but suddenly they think they are going to conquer the world. It's sure to end badly.

Arsenal fans are wishing that they can avenge their 5-1 drubbing at our hands after yesterday's defeat of Citeh. They played well and looked the business.

We'll be waiting to hammer them again and show Sanchez why he should have chosen us over them. We looked awesome against Dortmund and I expect us to continue the upward trajectory.

We go again 😉

Arsenal fans are always up their own arse this time of the season, apparently getting another player in their strongest area, and accepting a downgrade in the fullback position is going to make them title challengers. They need more than that, thankfully the fact Wenger has made Arteta captain suggests that he'll yet again overlook his glaring weakness in midfield.

One thing that keeps fucking me off is how they keep talking about how they're getting their Germans back, as if one player from the starting eleven and two subs were the reason Germany won the cup, reminds me of those West Ham fans who are still banging on about 1966.

The funnier thing is listening to Wenger talk about how it is difficult to motivate these Germans who've just returned from winning the World Cup, citing his previous experience with Vieira, Pettit, etc. Bayern's nailed on to lose the Bundesliga title and fail badly in the CL this season given his line of argument.

Arsenal looked to be playing about half speed of what Liverpool played against Dortmund.

Man City looked like the were playing a training match.

When is the open top parade? Crickey, Listening to the inanities from Wilshere, Aretta and Ramsey, not to mention the crowing by Arsenal-supporting journalists we may as well all pack up and let the procession begin.
